Draining weapons are a regular reactor push, die and all. Only things like reactor leaks just advance the reactor. Yes, this means you can potentially send your Titan berserk by just firing a Bellicosa cannon. Probably why it’s called /wrathful/…

This game is sooo cool! Makes me want to play Mechwarrior again

Ash great to see more AT! On Turn 4 you did emergency repairs on both Reavers then moved and shot?

Great Battle Report! Please make more Adeptus Titanicus vids. To simulate a dense city with skyscrapers you can stack any type of books, leaving spaces for city streets. You did this for an ancient game called Superheroes vs Villians from the 80s ( for which i can find zero references or images now) wow that takes me back. But yea, huge stacks of books, great for gameplay, not as good looking as your terrain admittedly. I had my old Dr Doom miniature floating around for decades, not sure where it is now.

Don't forget to add the modifier based on how damaged a location is(the little +1,2 or 3 under the track) to any subsequent attacks. In the after action report you guys mention how hard it is to kill titans. It gets a lot easier with that added in! I'm really enjoying this game, keep up with the videos!

Awesome to see titanicus again. Volcanos could of still hit your blind barraged reaver . A 6 always succeeds as a 1 always fails though

"Special" always refers to body at the moment for hit location. What else could it mean, or is that in the future. Otherwise it could have been printed as body on the dice. Obviously it is intended to be for something else, but what?

There are no direct hits. The scatter die “hit” symbol is used as an arrow. It always scatters at least 1”.

FYI weapons don't ever get destroyed in AT - you just keep taking detonations based if you keep getting hit in disabled weapons

The guy keeps forgetting the double hits from the volcano cannons. Everyone everywhere does. No wonder it seems underwhelming.

The Volcano cannon rolls to hit and doesn’t scatter unless it misses?

I really am not a fan of how Adeptus Titanicus ends its games. Feels a bit too abrupt, and with all the Titans standing like that it feels like not a whole lot was accomplished. Great models, though.

Great battle report. My only complaint is that you speak way too fast most of the time. Your words sound like they are tumbling over each other.

Call me cynical but I think this game is just a refreshing of their legal claim to 40k trademarks in smaller scales. A lot of countries have a "use it or lose it" law that requires companies to "actively use their trademarks in connection with a commercial enterprise" or risk it becoming fair use. (they partner with Fantasy Flight to print a lot of their old pre-miniature board games like Fury of Dracula about once every 10 years. great game if you can find it btw.) In the last few years there has been an absolute EXPLOSION of epic 40k content on 3d printer and model sites. Without GW having any models or current games in production in smaller scales for the last decade it would be hard for them to fight infringement. This game and its models were basically in a finished state way back in 2016, yet they only printed enough stock to cover their pre-orders with no notice of when or if they will restock? So GW either VASTLY under estimated the popularity of their giant mech game (doesn't seem likely) or they only printed a token amount to cover their development cost to maintain their 40k IP in smaller scales. From discussions I had with Jervis in Baltimore HQ 15+ years ago they were concerned specialist games were eating into the growth of the big 2. (In business year over year growth is more important than total sales because growth drives stock price.) I'm not sure how much has changed in the old guard at GW, but I wouldn't put much stock into this game getting expanded or even a permanent place in the GW roster. I was already on my way out of the company when they released the infamous "3 pillars of GW" letter where they described GW's future of only 3 games and the dissolution of all specialist games going forward. GW also just renewed their LOTR license for another 4 years. Under that deal they are REQUIRED to produce a certain number of items per year. This is why we have an untouched kiosk of LOTR and yet they told store managers they would not be seeing ANY Titanicus models.
