Over 30 new Army officers from Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea have graduated from School of Military Engineering following their culminating activity for their Regimental Officer Basic Course (ROBC), 12 July to 11 August 2024 at Holsworthy Barracks, New South Wales.
Exercise Kokoda is the culminating activity of the eight-month course, putting their learnings to the test covering a range of objectives based on real world scenarios.
The combat engineers are responsible for enabling the Army to move and fight, employing demolitions, building bridges, protecting Army personnel, and employing other technical skills as part of highly trained teams.
