Overall this is a outstanding shoe. I have already said so much on my channel and have so much more to say about it. I’m very happy to see Adidas giving this important shoe the attention it needed and bringing it in line with the rest of their Adizero line. A definite workout partner to the Adios Pro now…
I wonder if its possible to damage the shank when running on gravel road. It could be a deal breaker for some people who run on mixed terrain. Also it would be an interesting comparasion with Liberate Nitro 2 from Puma since they are relatively in same price range and designed for similar purposes.
It’s a tough piece so likely not. We did on the last adios have a branch stab through the exposed midsole on the run and make a tiny hole, which is a different problem.
So 7 had a horrible upper... just tore off along a crease starting from where it enclosed my pinkie! Thats was like after 20 or 25 miles! So, it is not promising to know that they have now made it thinner! I got Saucony, Nike and Puma now..... Anyways, the bottomline is that other brands are now making far better shoes than Adidas all across the board!! And if it is not for making youtube videos to review them, why would you even pick them up?!
