Just secured the off white ones for $125 this Saturday at an Adidas Outlet. So random because I was snooping around the ultraboosts also on sale and came across my size of the adios pro 3 just left atop other shoes and immediately realized what those were so I sat down with other shoes I had in my possession and tried three different pairs on at the store and my hunch was the best ones to get were the adios pro 3 as this was a super buy. Now going home and looking at the outsole I was like oh oh maybe I should take them back. But after seeing many 100 mile plus reviews on RU-vid I was still not convinced until I came across your review and because of your experience I’m choosing to keep mines as of today so thank you for your work you do. I can’t wait now to get them dirty. 🔥 🔥 🔥

Hi Tim, my veiw is exactly the same, I've done about 50 more miles on mine and about the same wear . I cant really see it them making it passed the 400 mile mark but we'll see . But they certainly are comfortable and fast and keep your feet cool . Ive got a second new pair waiting for when they are pooped 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Many thanks for the review Tim. It's a much cheaper and different shoe but my Adios 6 ( I think we are at 8 now) are really great, good spring and stability for a lightweight shoe. I'm tempted by these if I can find them cheaper here in the UK.

I Think that is the best marathon shoe right now! Bouncy, stable, durable and fast! I have one in the purple colorway! My pair have 40 kms only im sabing them for my half marathon and matathon races tabt im going to do from July to December!

They are a great shoe, I find them far more stable than the previous version. If Adidas had left the upper from the 2 on these it would have been better as that was a brilliant upper and felt amazing on foot, just disappeared once you got going. I've only got about 40 miles on my pair so far but I completely agree about the feel of them as you're running, really easy to just tick the miles off as you go.

I dont have the Pro 3, but Pro 2 and Takumi Sen 8. Materials probably much of the same. The durability is very good. The foams seems to get better after about 100 K.

I'm around 75km on mine. Funny we dealt with that first few eyelets the same way to get rid of the discomfort. And yes my socks gets chewed up as well. But will race with them astill.

@@RunTall Thanks! I think "effortless" is the word for these shoes. I got 3 consecutive 10km PBs while wearing them. I'm less than 2 weeks away from my 32km race(my first attempt to break 21km). Hopefully all goes well.

I have these (same colorway). I liked the shoe in general especially LightStrike PRO midsole. It is a firmer ride than my Alphafly v1 and Endorphin Pro 3. Apparently, it gets better as you put more miles on this foam. I need to put more miles on mine. Still, I chose Alphafly 1 over them for Houston Marathon. Adios Pro 3's biggest problem is the upper fit. The lower loops are not helping with the lockdown. I am surprised how much toe-room out there. In fact, a think it is even a bit too much room. The widened the forefoot to add stability and combined with the weird lacing choice, makes it harder to have a secure forefoot. But wide forefoot runners will rejoice. :) My favorite LightStrike Pro shoe is Takumi Sen 8 (9 is almost identical). The rods are softer and stack height is less so they make great interval workout shoes. You feel the bounce better than Adios Pro 3. Did you try Takumi Sen 8/9?

Hey Tolunay. I hear you. The Adios Pro 3 is a very close second to the Alphafly V1. The Alphafly is just a little faster for me. I've been training this week in an older pair of the V1's and will probably continue to run in them these last few weeks of this training block. Hey what's your next race? I am just running for fun. BTW, It's the 50th anniversary race this year.

Hi Michael. That’s awesome. Maybe I’ll get s chance to say hi while you are there. I just picked up tickets to the after party Mile 27. It’s come down to the AlphaFly V1 or the Adios Pro 3. They are both great options. Some might depend on the weather. I like the grip of the adios pro 3 in wet conditions. I’ve had some issues with the AlphaFly on wet roads. Have a great weekend. Where you have been a successful Alphafly V1 user, very curious on your opinion as a comparison to the Adios Pro3. I have a pair of Takumi Sen8 and for shorter tempo/intervals it's been amazing. I even think it would serve as a great half marathon racer for me. I also went through a pair of Adios 6's which I also loved. So I'm assuming my foot would probably love the Adios Pro as well. But man....that AlphaFly V1 magic is hard to give up.

Hey man so I just recently bought the alphafly v2 and I really liked the way they felt I mean I love version 1 better because it’s way more softer but the version too was good I took it on a 20 mile run today 10 miles easy 10 miles at around 6:45 to 6:50 pace and it felt great their was some rubbing on the left inside foot but other than that the ride was good the midsole is a little stiff but felt great I was able to keep the pace without any problem but then I got home and notice the airpod popped and it was bearly my 3rd run in the shoes I had done a 7 mile run and another 7 mile run and the 20 miler and that was it it sucks I was disappointed because I really wanted to see how the shoe would feel after 50 miles well I sent a message to Ebay and they sent me a label to return the shoes I bearly had 6 days with the shoes well the reason why I say this story is because they will send me my money back and we’ll I need another good long run shoe we’re I will be doing marathon pace so I was thinking of eitheir re ordering alphafly 2 again and risk it or get the adidas adizero pro 3 but I’m not sure if the shoe is any good can I get some advice

Hey thanks for the question. It's usual to pop the air unit with so few miles in them. That said, I popped the air pod in the AlphaFly V1 on a threshold run right before going to Boston and ended up with tendonitis as a result.... so I'm not so keen on the AlphaFly right now.. lol. The adios Pro 3 is probably my favorite marathon racing shoe right now. It wasn't at first. I had some pain points at the start of the lace enclosure but once I stopped over tightening the first 2 eyelets I was good to go. I ran up the miles in them and recently bought a second pair. Plus, you can find them on sale right now which is always a bonus. Have a great day and have fun shoe shopping. Let me know what you end up getting.

Just bought a pair (my first adidas running shoes after 13 years)! a little worried so far about the feedback that I get for the upper and the lacing config... this is the reason I haven't run in these so far. The midsole, I think, is gonna be great, my only concerns are about the upper, I will wear them in house for a couple of days and decide whether I keep em or return back

Since they last quite a lot, can I use them as more of my go to daily trainer? I found a pair for 175$ and I’m keen on getting them. Right now I’m running in Novablast 3, but I feel that I want something with a bit more cushion and spring so all of my runs will feel a bit “easier”. What do you think?

If you ask 10 runners you'll probably get 10 different answers... lol. I personally love using these as a daily trainer. They have great impact protection, they are light and quick. And, I'm a big believer in putting in training miles in the shoes you plan to wear on race day. So I say, go for it. It's been working well for me. Have a great day!

Hi Anwar. It was more of a work around than a fix. I basically am running with the first half fo the laces loose or at least not cinched down like I normally would in other race day shoes. It's working for me to be able to run in them comfortably. I don't feel as lockdown but it's a tradeoff. Have a great day. Stay safe.

Unfortunately I haven't run in the Takumi Sen 8. I have heard great things about it and I'm looking to pick up a pair of the Takumi Sen 9. I do wear the same size in the Adizero Boston as I do in the Adios Pro. I think you'd be good to order the same size. I love the big stack of Lightstrike Pro foam they have in the Adios Pro 3. They are a very comfortable midsole ride.

@Run Tall with Tim well, I just received mine. Just walking around in them, I feel my heel sinks in but I'm guessing it will be different when running.
