So glad to finally get the DRose breakdown. I remember getting the 2 and 2.5 when they came out to ball in and your channel being one of the ones I watched to find out if they were good options. Blessing to y'all and your family and stay safe 🙏

Back when these dropped, I grabbed every single colorway I could find, along with the 1.5. My personal favorite was the grey/red/white one. I was a huge fan of D Rose and being a guard myself, my game was heavily modeled after his. As for the cushion, I swapped out the insole with an orthopedic one which actually solved the issue with the excess volume in the toebox and made them fit even better. Loved these.

Interesting shoe, probably meets all the needs of a very particular type of player, similar to the Kyrie’s in my opinion. Thanks so much for putting the effort in to get all three of the performance reviews in before the shut down, regardless of the nature of the content we know it’ll be good so we’ll be tuning in 🙌🏻

Great review as always! Do you think this would be a good shoe to use the Hefe Luxx insole in (the thinner one) to add cushion/impact protection since you said the shoe has some space above your foot in the shoe?

If cushion here is nonexistent, does that mean that inserting third party insoles in them would be a perfect setup to those that needed cushion? Will the fit be compromised?

Igol Corpuz it sure will because a third party insole normally are different size and fit, and most of the time it is thicker.

I had the original black/red away colorway of the D Rose 1 back in 2010. One of the best shoes ever. Unfortunately had that pair stolen from me. Glad I picked these up! Gonna lace these up like the good old days

i bought these back in 2011, I balled out on everyone on court. Ran these pairs to the ground haha. They are light af, and feel great on your feet. Just enough maybe less cushioning.

This was my 1st basketball shoes back in high-school I was in my freshmen year when those came out every time I wore those during our games all eyes were on me because the bright yellow color of that shoes were blinding and I used to mimic drose's signature crossover wearing those. @@GreliBelandres he mentioned whether he should post the review on those or the Kobe 5 protro first in a video (and i imagine the Kobe 5s were way more requested) He also mentioned that he just doesn't post anything about some shoes because he didn't enjoy them at all. He's had the Why Nots for about 4 months, and given the mixed reviews that I've read and watched, i imagine he didn't like his experience in them.
