In this video I review the Adidas Duramo Speed Running Shoe. I bought these about 6 weeks ago and have about 100miles ran in them to date. . #running #runningtips #runtraining #marathon #fitness #adidas #adidasduramo
Wow, 100 miles in a budget shoe? Thanks for the down-to-earth review. Comfort's key, and you've unlocked the secret with this Adidas gem. Stay awesome and keep those positive steps coming! 👟
Thank you for honest to the core review. I bought the shoes after watching your review and its fantastic. No complaints so far. Definitely increased my pace without causing any trouble to joints...
Great, confortable running shoe!!! Bought mine on a x'mas sale for only U.S.$34.00. Excellent value-for-money. Uses Adidas Lightstrike soles. Great for 5km to 10km light runs. 🎉❤
these look really nice i've been rocking the adidas supernova 2's and they are very good and cost anything form 50 - 70 dollars are often on same. regular cost is 100- 120 dollars.
I picked up the Supernova 2s a couple weeks ago for under US$ under 40 from the Adidas app. As is usual, price varies on color ways. Very pleased with comfort as a casual shoe. For budget shoe, running, hard to beat Saucony Axon. Picked up the v3 for $60 online, not Saucony site, months ago. Less firm, less snappy, than previous versions. I like having both firmness options, though. I believe you can find version 2 (firmer powerrun) possibly still available, Shoebacca, Amazon?, for $45.
Just ordered from Adidas app, members only, pre Black Friday, for US$27 in one particular colorway, only, light blue, if interested. Doubt they last long at that price.🎉 Sizes limited, already.
Has the midsole compressed much over time? The shoe looks great but I’ve heard lightstrike is quite firm and dies pretty quickly too. Does the midsole feel lively at all? Specifically in reference to your experience with the Clifton, as this is quite a squishy EVA. Thanks for the review, not many knocking about for this shoe
The midsole has deteriorated a bit but not so much to make me stop wearing this shoe. I ran 12mi in it yesterday and it's still great. That's about 500mi to date in the shoe. The sole certainly isn't as long lasting as the Clifton but it was half the price.
@@RunSensible So, pulled the trigger! This thing’s a definite sleeper. The midsole is firm but not too firm, nice wide forefoot and the upper seems to be identical to some of the adizero range! Did a club 5k in it this morning and it felt great, taking it out for 10k this weekend. Fantastic recommendation, thanks for showcasing this shoe!
@@that_which_is_not that's fantastic, I'm glad you found it to be positive. I did a WU, 20min tempo, 8x1min on /off & CD in the shoe this morning and it was great.
Nice review. Will you use the Nike next % in races and Duramo and ultraboost in training only? I suggest Mach 5 if you try Hoka again. I used Clifton from version 4-7 then switched to Mach 4 and plan to never go back. I now use Mach 5 version. The nice thing is it Hoka's low cost road shoe.
Yes, I will continue to use the Vaporflys in races and just use the Duramo in easy midweek runs. I will definitely try the Mach 5's I might buy a pair this week and use them on workout days.
Hello, I'm aiming to buy a pair of these Duramo Speed but I've never got any Adidas pair before so I'm concerned about the sizing. I've got some pairs from Nike, New Balance, Under Armour, Asics, and they're all US 9. If you can make an estimation, what size of the Duramo Speed will suit me the most? Thank you.
I find Adidas (in Europe) to be exactly the same sizing as Asics,Nike and NB. I find I have to go half a size up with Hoka. So all my shoes are UK9 except Hoka UK9.5 I'd go with US9
I finally got a pair of Duramo Speed today and US9 was a good fit for me. I did 1000 skipping jumps with it. It was super light and the soles were comfortable too, and a bonus was that it looked even better in reality, I really love the color and the big, gradient 3 stripes. Thank you again for the information!
I just picked up a pair of these on Amazon for €27, just for faffing around the house. So if they're fine for a run they'll probably do me OK for walking to the fridge and the bathroom. Or, I might even get up off of my lazy ass and go for a run with them... Stranger things have happened.
Can you suggest me between NIKE DONSIFTER 12 VS ADIDA DURAMO RC ... I am 20 kg over weight of my BMI and i am confused between the two which one is better for me as a beginner runner...
