ADIDAS SL: Interval, Long, and Easy Run Review

My pair are on the way . Can't wait to try them 👍 on the subject of laces , I do a knot leaving all four laces equal length ,then twist them together into one and tuck them under the laces that cross the shoe . This has only come undone twice in over 6000 miles . Try it 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️ happy running everyone Update: mine came and after the first run i found them so hard they where unusable. I drilled out around 30% of the heal and midsole to lower the PSI and theyre now ok for shorter runs . For what i paid theyre ok

the reviews on this shoe are all over the map, runners either hate it, and or can't stand it, while others really like it. If I could try them on at my local running store, I'd be interested, but since my local store doesn't carry this shoe from Adidas, that says everything right there.

This SL is an awesome trail shoe! I am doing all but super technical terrain in this where the longest wa 30 something kilometers. Upper and midsole are doing awesome, the outsole is too even though a little peeling of the outer rubber is going on but with zero rips or tears

Surprised, so far every reviewers had been negative about this SL, you're the first one I saw that liked it. I have earlier totally written off this pair due to the -ve reviews but now may need to try it at the store. Tq

What a surprise. I didn’t like the original SL compared to the Boston 9 (which I loved). Point made about the laces, but did you consider just buying better laces? I’ve had to change laces in a couple of otherwise great shoes because they were either insanely too long for me, or as in this case, didn’t stay tied or give me good lock-down. I hate the runner’s knot because it’s much more involved every time to get the shoe on and off. I’ve never needed it; I’d rather buy better laces, a cheap solution.

These are the only Adidas shoes I have that I don't like. Firm and boring. The Boston 12 and Takumi Sen 9 are 100 times better for daily trainers. I really don't understand the positive reviews on the SL. I was super disapointed.

Have you tried the Takumi Sen 8? Easily one of the most highly rated by everyone--full Lightstrike Pro, lighter than these.

I utilize the runner’s knot in all my running shoes. Lockdown guaranteed.

Current price point....down to $34 on REI. Couldnt pass it up wven if my shoe rotation in on the rediculous side.

“Won’t be getting Sl 20 ever again” ??? But you said you loved those in your videos and was planning to buy more. What happened?

Had to buy up a half size - usually i wear 10 but had to buy 10.5. Was this the case for you?

Thanks for this video man!!! Good review. Im going from a NB1080 to the SL. Im just looking for another experience. I love the 1080s, but as a new runner, im trying to figure out what suits me better. Is an index finger gap infront enough?
