When Seth is holding the shoe, I like to imagine he’s wearing the second shoe with nothing on the other foot. But when he puts it in the background on the shelf, It ruins it for me.
This Yeezy design was such a miss. The aesthetics are interesting at best, but the construction and concept just feels like an afterthought. It looks like rehash of the V2 rather than an improvement with annoying details like the infinite loop laces. Where's the innovation? The only reason to cop would be for the buzz / hype really.
I know a lot of people don't like it. And if it's because they are too loud I totally get that, but the design is top notch imo. I love it and is very fitting with the sole. Look forward to cop a pair

Ok if the strings aren’t adjustable why is there a show string eyelet at the top lol. These are probably tied with the high top 500s for my lesser favorite yeezy
My man, the slates are easily one of the best Yeezy's! They are soooo damn wearable in winter, and 100% the comfiest Ye too imo. The collar hugs your foot in the nicest way. Straight up improvement over the low tops.

The back of the shoe is very hard and uncomfortable, which is a shame because the boost is very comfy. I bought the triple blacks for work, walked around the block in them and had blisters on the back of my Achilles. I’ve read on Reddit that many other people had the same issue with these.
Yea I completely agree with your statement about this not being the favorite 700. It's just so plain. It doesn't have that edginess that Yeezy usually delivers. It feels "too safe" if that makes sense. Just needs a little something to make it stand out.
not a fan at all tbh on this one, in my opinion looks cheap and not up to the quality of previous yeezy silhouettes :( also the fact theyre naming features like the "no sew overlay" is just them trying to give a fancy name to cover up the fact that they were too lazy to sew the overlays on, which really annoys me.
Tbh I think they should use this material on another model. The 700 is known for its bulky chunky padded look and you start to loose that profile with this new material.
