Oh Heather you are such a wonderful teacher! I never thought of making the ring first then the piece and attach them together. This would be a lot easier for me. This Dragonfly always makes me smile. It’s so stinking cute! 💝🥰🤗

How long should the wire be??

Depending on your ring size and the size of the dragonfly you can cut about 10 inches of 20g wire.

How long is your wire to make the dragonfly in the second one

For the 2nd dragonfly I cut my wire way to long. You should be fine with about 6-8 inches of 20g wire depending on the size of your dragonfly.
