After my car sat for 15 years I had to replace the wheel cylinder and shoes as they were rusted and did not move at all. Good video!

I just bought a 93 GT with low miles. First drive I felt a crunchy feel to right rear and the E-brake/parking brake had to be pulled all the way up to hold. Been many a day since I've changed drum brakes and of course surfed YT to bring back memories. Found your video and it was very helpful, definitely get into the how-to videos with an expert like him!

Yes, Absolutely love these types of Fox-Tech videos. These videos are the best thing on the internet for DIY Fox-owners. I love learning about these cars and this took the mystery right out of drum brakes. This one is saved in my Fox Library to circle back to when she's on jackstands this winter. We do have a video series on rebuilding the entire rearend which includes the pinion seal although the rearend is out of the car.

Good video... My rear brakes are basically on while I'm driving and from your video I think I know what the issue is. The spring on the emergency brake cable which ticks me off but i'll be glad if that is actually the issue. thanks for the video

Very in depth and awesome for folks who have drum brakes. I had flashbacks to my first Fox in high school! Haven't touched drums since. I wonder what's worse to set up? Rear drums on a Fox? OR Rear discs on the SVO? I think we should do a video on the SVO rears! lol

Say if i have a 450hp 🦊 Fox & i only upgrade the front brakes, with some heavy duty break pads on the Rear can i still keep the rear drums on my Car? Because i like my drums but i want to be safe to stop 🛑 as well.

Depends on what you want to do with the car really. I always say if you're gonna have drums just be sure you give yourself enough distance to stop. Mine has about 400 hp and I've never had a problem with the drums. Whatever you decide enjoy the car.

Its a brake spring tool spoon style there's several variations of them Snap-on Tools Mac Tools Matco Tools or even auto parts store carry some cheap ones they all work they all do the same thing 🔴🇺🇸🔧👍

Find your local tool truck mac snapon or matco tools are the best ones but most likely any auto parts store for a cheepy there's a few different styles but they all do the same thing🔴🇺🇸🔧👍

Please stop calling them "Fox Body". When did that start? It's the Fox Body platform, yes I know, but there are millions of other Fords from the 70s, 80s and 90s that were "Foxbodies" too. It's a (insert year '79 - '93) Ford Mustang. That's it.
