I've been watching your videos for awhile and recently started playing about a week ago. I had so many questions and you've answered them all. I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to go into creative mode and no one I talked to seemed to have the answer. I've seen people create bases with the grandeur of Buckingham Palace and have had the desire to do the same for so long. Thank you so much! Your videos are incredibly helpful!

Good guide. I played the game with the boys a long time ago on ps4. 3.0 is getting us back in, just on PC though. Guide is just as good for PC. You earn a sub.
Another great video, these are very helpful. Even after playing on and off for two years, I found setting I'd not thought to use before. My xBox is all patched now, only noticed one invisible animal so far. Ostriches are really hard to kill if you can't see them. Just walking along, minding my own bee's wax! Even their bar was invisible! I wasn't going to collect feathers or eggs...but. 😶 Let's just say I have pretty new pillows. 😁 Thank you for another helpful video.
I was glad to see they did the invisible fix for the PS and xbox. That should have never happened. Happy to hear you found my video helpful whycocha! The settings I think help a lot of us enjoy the game more, especially single player who are at a distinct disadvantage in the game.
Hey GG, great video as usual! Couple things that you asked for help with. The purge update interval is how many minutes it takes for the game to check for new purge meter points. For example, you get 200 points for placing a building piece, but you only get it for one piece per interval. So, if you want to get credit for that more often, make the interval smaller. That sort of thing. Edit: I tried looking it up but I'm not exactly sure what the initial delay option is. My guess is maybe an amount of time in a server before you can be purged if you're new.

Another tip: if you enter to a crafting station while in Creative Mode, you are able to craft any item whether or nor you have the recipe. Go on and try it on the armorer bench :D It happened to me yesterday, I hope it's not a glitch.
For single player the only changes I make. Don't drop items on death (found this was keeping me from ever wanting to explore on my own), Thrall and Pet training cut to 20%. And that's it. What I WISH we could do is have multiple saves for single-player so I can easily go from one character to another.
@@GrannyGamester in the steam folder there are saved files of the game. Rougly last hour gameplay around every 5 minutes, last few days around every few hours(pc) so you can back up your game for yourself if you lost something or a thrall etc easily. I guess it works here to save back multiples caracters for yourself. Just need to change the actulally wanted to play caracter's back up file to game.something. dont remember the file type, just change the name of it, thats it
You are an evangelist for Crom and He is not displeased. I used to adjust combat in my favor, but I’m finding with 3.0 that I’m doing well even with stone weapons. I adjust the night cycle to 4.0 and set NPC respawn higher for areas with many thralls, otherwise the constant thrall respawn slows down my frame rate. (PS4) I turn off lose all loot in n death. Only those three changes, getting closer and closer to the vanilla settings and liking it!

I am actually stronger and don't need a thrall for most of it so far. I am sure I will further up North but for now I am sooo happy. Keep on gaming my friend! Ive been playing co op with my friend but for some reason things only render in if hes near me so i cant go farm iron why he goes exploring or something else how can i fix this?
When you are playing Co-op you are tethered to the other player which means you have to stay pretty close to each other. As far as I know there is not fix to this because it is how co-op works. I don't like it either!!
great video just one question what is the difference between everyone and forced for everyone under the creative mode server option and i was confused by your reasoning for leaving it on admin only. thank you for your time.
Hi C H and the "forced for everyone" setting is for servers, if you use that as a single player you will not be able to get out of creative mode. When you are single player you want to keep it on Admin only because you are the Admin of your game. Hope this answers your question. :-)
how do u open the command console on consoles? example i want to use the findfollowerStat rangmodifer command to find the range dmg multiplier on cimmerian berserkers / cannibal brutes ( going to use my failed ones as archer guards if they have a decent multipler)
awesome video gg hows the stability on ps4 ps5 is still rendering a bit slow like if i look at my thrall his textures arent loaded quickly its only after cple seconds and just happens sometimes but all my bugs gone , only bug is me
Your PS4 seems to handle this game much better than mine. What settings are you using? If you don’t mind my asking. Also is your model vanilla or PS4 Pro?
@@GrannyGamester thanks so much. I asked because I run into severe slowdown around my base. Once a few work stations with thralls go up, it gets bad. But otherwise the game runs well enough.
It must be a certain DLC that allows you to copy your character because I’ve never seen that option. Thing is I have all the DLC’s and I play on the PlayStation. That option has never shown up for me.
@@DunnyHutch1 Ahhh makes sense, thanks for letting me know. So you would be able to use it even on a console so don't understand why you don't have the option in your menu.
is there any way to make you an admin permantly on singleplayer every time i log out and back in the next day i have to re-click "make me admin" to get the controls back.
@@GrannyGamester well thrall decay is off so i guess when a thrall or animal is tamed it wont decay, and can only die from gettng killed? And i guess a baby animal doesnt count as a pet yet so it makes it count more like an ingredient or something?
@@screaminsilence81 Yes a baby animal has a timer so they don't last forever unless you place them in a preservation box with ice. That will stop the timer until you are ready to tame them.

Pull up your inventory and across the very top you will see a list of tabs. Right next to map is followers. Click on that and you will see your follower listed. Now click on the eye symbol you see on the far right side of your followers name. That will track your thrall on the map. Go to your map and look for an icon that looks like a human head with shoulders in white. That is where your thrall is. Chances are your thrall is in the last place you set them down. Good luck! :-)
@@GrannyGamester Thanks, from me too! My followers had made it back to base, but I'd forgotten that they belonged to base #2. Of course I was working at base #1, blaming myself for their sad demise. I kept checking the map for them, but didn't think about raising the area.
Hey GG, just catching up on the rest of the video. I haven't tested it in a while but I think if you know their name and type it (I usually do Lian, my favorite lol) it should still find him because it should know which code goes to which name. Definitely might be remembering wrong but worth trying for people just to see if it works and for which named thralls if it does work. 😁
@@gabenindesertland If you watched the video at 3:50 it will tell you how to get admin. Make sure you click on "make me admin: twice. That will give you admin on your main menu.
Just back out by hitting the O for playstation and B for Xbox. If your asking how to get it out of the game once you sign into it, you can't. The only way to get it out of your main menu is to restart the game.
ARRRGH!!! You jump straight to the Server Settings tab which does not exist for me!! I am here to try to figure out how to enable that dang tab and EVERYONE just assumes it magically exists already. So frustrating!!. On to the next useless server settings video...
If you are playing on a server this will not work for you! You have to be in single player mode to make yourself admin of your own game. I clearly state in the title this if for single players!
