Dude, Congratulations for the admit. By any chance,do you have a sheet regarding colleges, it's prerequisites, tuition fees? It would really help a lot.
How can i apply if my degree is gonna complete in april and deadline for fall sem is in somewhere jan as the clg asks for transceipts and all how i am gonna manage it
Do you rate ufl over sbu for ms cs? I am having confusion choosing between Indiana Bloomington, northeastern, stony brook and university of florida.. please help
Bhai how to decide which university come under safe moderate and ambitious university according to my profile please make a vedio on how to shortlist university please🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hello Aadi, I’ve been getting a lot of request about how to shortlist videos as ambitious, moderate and safe so I’ll try to work on it and put it up soon.
Rajat bhai, i am truly impressed that you got UCR...Me too planning to study in UCR for MS in Computer Engineering, but the fees is too high, so you know about scholarships/student assistantship, or any financial support offered by UCR to international students, please tell me, will be of great help. ❤️ from Mumbai.
Thank you Asad. As far as assistantships are concerned, you can get a TA or a student assistantship from the second quarter onwards. International students get no kind of scholarship since UCR is a public university. Only California residents get financial aid. Apart from that, you can also get an on campus job in different departments. Hope this helps. All the best.
Hy bro I got 7.43 CGPA in 5,6,7,8th sem I have over all CGPA of 8.7 and ILETS 7.5, GRE has been waived for my department so they didn't ask me. I did btech in aerospace applied for ms in aerospace at ASU is there any chance of getting acceptance?
I believe you do have a chance of getting in, since aerospace doesn’t have a high volume of applicants! Overall you have a good CGPA and IELTS score. Without reviewing your entire profile I can’t say surely but you do stand a fair chance. All the best!
Your shortlisting of universities according to your profile was wrong. All your moderate universities were actually ambitious for you. ASU, NEU, NYU Tandon, UTD accept profiles with 8+ cgpa.
It is subjective, I’ve seen people with 7 pointers but with strong SOPs and LORs also get into such universities. It’s a matter of how you present yourself to the universities. What happened this year was that since GRE was waived off, majority of the college became very GPA centric.
@@RajatMJain Yeah. I know that but for MS in CS, even during non-covid times, few people get admits for profile with CGPA 7+. General admits what I have seen for MS in CS at these universities like ASU, UTD, NEU, NYU Tandon etc. have CGPA 8+, GRE 310-320, Good SOP and LOR's.
Only cgpa lor sop gre toffel r not counted.... We really need cs background for ms in cs Well hope there will be some universities jo only cs waalon ko hi nahi but electronics waloan ka bhi admit denge I think need to teach them that electronics graduates r best coders
To have a point of contact at the university and increase my likelihood of getting an admit and a TA eventually. Building a relationship with professors is crucial if you want to work on research with them or get hired as a TA.
I think it depends on how you see your career ahead. MS will be an absolute change from what you’ve been preparing for. The lifestyle in general is very different.
Sir you received 12500$ scholarship.Did you applied for it or received it automatically on admission.if you applied, the. When did ya applied when sending application or after getting acceptance letter
I have a CGPA of 9.1 , 2 internships and good projects. However my GRE score is a bit low 308(154 v&q and 4 awa). Will i able to get admits in MS in CS program in any of top 60 universities and the also the ones you had applied? also few universiites have waived off gre for fall 2022 as well
Since you’ve already taken the GRE, you might have to report the scores to them. Atleast the UCs require it. Coming to your profile, a lot of people will say that there are people with scores less than you who get into top colleges. The reality is that there are only 1-2 such students who’s profile justifies that they can not be judged on the basis of their grades. If you’re one of them, sure you can get admits. In reality if you want to get into CS, you will require 160+ in Quants because it’s a very math oriented department. Verbal is fine but it’s about Quants really.
Hey can you suggest why you finalized the college, what is tution fee, what is living cost, any others highlights in specific, what other colleges we need to consider in California when applying?
Sure. UCR is a part of the UC system which is one of the most coveted public university system. My tuition fee is approximately $44K which is generally low as compared to other universities, and definitely lower than private universities. The cost of living is $14,400/year, this includes rent, utilities and food. UCI, UCSC, UCLA and UCSD are some of the other colleges you should consider. I loved the location of Riverside because it’s very close to LA, so plenty of opportunities and most importantly the faculty is amazing! We have 2 Nobel Prize winners and all the professors I spoke to are super friendly and always ready to help you.
According to university website, the cost of 1 quarter is around 11k dollars, so for your course, it will be around 66k dollars, but you are telling that your fees is 44k dollars, rajat bhai please explain why is that so
@@asadkhrd2218 DO U EVEN KNOW WHAT QUATER MEANS....QUATER LITERALLY MEANS 1/4 OR 25% .SO TELL ME HOW CAN THERE BE 6 QUATER IN A YEAR.DUDE U SHOULD CONSIDER STUDYING BASIC MATHS BEFORE EVEN THINKING OF DOING MS
@@adityachitlangia3903 Fool, I was telling that 6 quarters will take 2 years, I don't told that 1 year consists of 6 quarters, first try to understand what the other person is telling, and then pour out your shit knowledge about basic maths... Actually I don't need basic math knowledge, but it's you who is in desperate need, 😂🤣
Hello Ramya, if you manage to get an on campus job and manage to work the max that is 20 hours per week, as per $14 per hour you can make enough to manage your rent and groceries. It's kinda difficult to work for the max hours though.
@@RajatMJain ya ya I know. I myself from MU and that too electrical more tough. I want to switch to electronics. MS in VLSI, can we connect via Insta or something, I want some details.
Hi rajat, i want do MS in USA . what is the procedure to apply MS in USA . how can get scholarship .please let me know. how to connect with further discussion
Hey Vishal, you can connect with me on IG or LinkedIn. Scholarships are limited to excellent applicants. To apply, you should start with taking exams like GRE and TOEFL and then short list colleges as per your profile. Later on, you can apply online once applications are open.
Just saw you video today . I have completed my bachelor's in aeronautical engineering and wanna switch my majors to cs . Can i do it with relevant work experience ?.
I’m not sure, from what I know we do have a winter intake which begins on Jan but it’s equivalent to spring in other universities. Let me know if that helps
