Rob, I will never forget the total joy on Luna’s face when she saw those chicks. I actually have a screen saver of her with her wings around them in a big hug. Honestly Luna & Bomber’s adopted chicks is something I’ll never forget. Thank you so much for bring this experience via your videos to me. 🥰🇦🇺
Who knew there was so much drama happening around us every day and night that we never see. You open a window into the world of birds for all of us. Thank you
I wish there was a camera on the hummingbird nest in our apartment complex. We will never know what happened... It went from 2 eggs to an egg missing either the night before or day of the other egg hatching, to the mom barely being in the nest at night at all for the first 5 days or so upon the one chick hatching (which worried me a lot!), to the chick and mom vanishing a few days ago - which was at least a week before the chick would have been able to try to fledge (the darling baby bird only lived for a full 12 days). 😢 The nest was quite disturbed the day I discovered the chick was missing (and I saw the chick being just fine around 15 hours prior). One side of the nest became totally detached from it’s foundation, and the nest was rather squished in half. Either a predator got it, or a sick human did. I have to wonder if it was the same entity behind the other egg going missing. I am totally heart broken about it all, and I _REALLY_ wish I knew what happened. I’m sure momma bird is heartbroken too. 😢😢😢
Luna is lucky to have those foster chicks. she literally took them under her wing, and she looks so satisfied having chicks to take care of. I'm always fascinated by the owl's maternal instinct just as I am fascinated by chicken's maternal instinct. Also Bomber. Aww, he even preened the chicks! And... I do find it hilarious for Luna to bring home a piece of drumstick :D
You keep saying adopted chicks, but after the first day, Luna only knows them as her own. She loves them, that is what matters most to her, and to them. Thank you so much for chronicling thier journey, and all the hard work you do to bring us this joy!
@@22espec actually she doesn’t. If she did, she would’ve attacked the chicks at first sight because they were already big and they were in her nest, and her eggs were missing. She would’ve assumed they killed and ate her eggs, but she assumed they hatched and they were just big babies. She’s a good mama, that’s for sure, she looked so happy when she first saw them. Feel so bad for tawny mama because her eggs failed. But she seems so happy with her new chicks, sadly they can’t stay as chicks forever 😢 THEY WERE SO FLUFFY 😭
And the male coming back to two "toddler" chicks being like: "They hatched! They hatched! Oh, congratulations, great job! Now let me see my babies! Let me.. wait a minute..🤔 Let me take a better look" and she's like "Yeah yeah, thank you. You can go now. Bye" 😅
Thank you, Robert, for the beautiful, feel good entertainment you so abundantly provide for all to see. You are on the top of my list for the best feel good time on the Net. God bless you and your family. Patricia
This story has just been pure magic, thank you Robert for making it happen and helping them out. The love that Luna and Bomber have for their little ones makes it all worthwhile.
Omg Jackdaws are trouble! Luna is good mama, kids feel overprotected and foster dad doesn't want to hunt all night long, he wants to interact. Mama Luna thinks he's lazy and she rules the house. I love it!!
It is so cute when she keeps brooding these too big chicks, all close to her and happy. Now I must go out and fill up 5 to 10 birdbaths, which I do every day, and maybe spread out some hemp seed for the birds too. The pigeons I must say are very smart, and also the crows.
What a heart warming example of Nature 💜 if we could all just help a little to save our wild world wouldn't it be wonderful. Keep up the amazing things you do Robert!
A simply marvelous tale. The shot of the rainbow at 4:44 gave just a quick glimpse of the beautiful countryside you live in. Such wonderful camera work. Now if I see a rainbow it will remind me of the joy you brought to Luna and all of your great work in helping these creatures in the struggle to live each day amidst the dangers and difficulties they encounter🌈
There’s so many wonderful stories Robert blesses us with…but this might be my favorite success story. I just love Luna and her strong mothering instincts. There’s so many struggles, beyond the norm, that she’s overcome (sometimes with a little human helping hand). Thank you, Robert. ✨💖✨
This was such a lovely video 🥰 Dawn and Dusk are so lucky to have ended up with such wonderful and devoted parents thanks to you Robert 🤗 I look forward to the next video!! 😃
I’m just in shock over jackdaw… It’s like a home invasion with lethal weapon! Thank God you intervened! How often, in nature, does this scenario occur, Robert?
I just want to say thank you for helping these owls, it’s heartwarming to see Luna care for chicks, that sadly weren’t hers. I also want to say that I love that place, I would love to be there :D . Thank you for taking care of them!
Robert, your films are amazing and tell the love and life of birds and why we should take care of them, every film of them brooding/hatching always gets me screaming with joy
This is has been one of the most heartwarming stories of my life. TY. for this experience Mr. Fuller. Luna, Bomber and all the adopted owlets will live in my heart forever. 🦉🦉💯❤
I'm glad I didn't witness the leveret feeding. But I find this one of the most beautiful nature stories, ever. I feel so fortunate and grateful to have found your channel, REF.
What a beautiful video and it plays out in nature all the time. We had Robin's nesting on our front and back porch this year. Loved watching the babies take flight. Two hung around the back yard for about a week before leaving for good.
Robert this story just melts my heart, makes me cry and smile all at the same time, thank you so so much for bringing these amazing birds and animals into our lives, I’m so glad I found you and your channel, love it so much xxxxxx
Another lovely video Robert! You certainly have the best job in the world documenting, filming and painting such gorgeous animals. I have a soft spot for the raptors. Owls and kestrels are some of my favorites.
Fascinating and utterly beautiful video Robert. The colours in the plumage are beautiful and the landscape shots are gorgeous. The owls are doing an amazing job and, thanks to you, we can all see every minute of the care and development of the chicks. Thank you!
That was just lovely, so sweet, such good parents. Luna is a wonderful mother and those chicks are very very lucky. Additionally, with the jackdaw scene you almost provided more excitement and suspense than I can handle
