So is this a mixed breed between Golden-Handed-Lion-Tamarin and a marmoset monkey? This is Golden Handed Lion Tamarin: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Wj4jkODMUu8.html And this is a Marmoset monkey: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5tnnHsKNKWc.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YYuZKZ4oY68.html And this my beloved lovely Cotton-top Tamarin !!!: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7PoZFLEXgYQ.html (Not mine but I love them so much). There are also few other types of tamarins out there and let me know if you want to get those links.
I would think it would be the other way around lol. Being small, a house would provide them with enough space to explore and allow them to be very active without having to worry about them breaking/destroying everything, or feeling too confined, vs their larger cousins.
@Jeff Schauberger if these were orphans they would be in a sanctuary and this looks nothing like it. They are probably living in these cold steel cages waiting to be bought by an idiotic human who won't know how to feed and treat them properly.
Can these 2 species breed together? Their bodies look the same except for color. Their size, mannerisms, diet, even sounds they make and how they communicate and understand each other all seem identical.
Nah, while they are related they do have some significant differences and their habitats only slightly overlap in the wild. Their jaw shape and dentition are very different, and they can't hybridize effectively
BS!!! THAT'S ONE UGLYASS TREE RAT!!!👍😂😂😂😂😂 I DON'T GIVE A DAM IF IT HOP! ROLL OVER LIKE A DOG! IT'S STILL BEEN BEAT WITH UGLY STICK!!!😂😂😂 ALL THEM DIFFERENT WILD BEAST IS UGLY!!! Some see them as cute! And that's their opinion. Rest of us don't and that's our opinion!✌
Their cages look like bird cages but they look more like squirrels to me, a lot of the tiny New World monkeys seem squirrel-like with their prehensile tails.
The metal is very uncomfortable and very unnatural for them and I don't think that this is a zoo which means these people are breaking the law because this is a highly endangered animal and RU-vid should be ashamed for showing it.
@@mummler The species are not endangered, however these tiny empty metal cages holding only one baby is detrimental for these animals who in the wild would stay with their parent group until they are 2 years old. Funnily I have both species, but they live in family groups and babies are cared for by parents and siblings.
Where are these animals located? Is this a zoo or is this in someone's home? It is at the top of the list for illegal for people to own these or transport them and if these are pets RU-vid should be ashamed for showing this because they are very highly endangered in the red zone.
Both species are categorised as “Least concern” by IUCN, but I agree these babies are not kept properly. Tamarins and marmosets should not leave the family unit until they are 2 years old. You can still get tame monkeys without removing them from their parents.
