It's unbelievable how resilient these babies are! They're dragged over and through rocks, bitten, stretched, smashed, tormented, body slammed, held under water, beaten, pummeled, crushed, clobbered for 20 minutes , then run off like nothing happened!! I've seen hammers have easier days....

Her ability to literally never shut up is amazing

Humans shouldn't get overly involved, they're wild animals and they have their own rules.

I find it strange how people humanize this as a mother mistreating it's child. These are not human beings these monkeys are wild creatures of instinct; wild animals don't follow the same societal norms as we do stop humanizing them.

People think they are just monkeys running around. It's more complicated then that. They're ranking in the society. The one doing the abuse could be the child of a higher ranking monkey. The mother can't step in cause she could be a social outcast. It's like how a really rich snobby person would treat a homeless person.

Some of the mothers are delightful. Im afraid I like those ones best. Have calm babies

The baby doesn't even know that he is being punished for eating before the elders. He is trying to take shelter under any monkey that comes close. And the cameraman is the one who started it, he knew perfectly how to start it just by feeding the young one before the elders

Is this the treatment or the kind of life most viewers think a baby monkey deserves. You have got to be kidding me? Those individuals who spend so much time writing awful negative comments about their caregivers are devoid of compassion for the voiceless. I too am aware of monkey abusers but your generalization and your insatiable desire to criticize others are putting those innocent babies’ life at higher dangerous risk of dying in the wild like trash. Because they’re wild animals doesn’t mean we humans have to ignore their suffering and, in doing so we demonstrate that we are as wild as they are because that’s how monkeys generally interact.

Humans should NEVER interfere w anything. This is the nature of their life.

When the mom (rarely) protected and fed this little one then she was cheerful, clever, adventurous, social, playful. Daniela only screemed when hungry, abandoned or beaten. Like humans they thrive when their needs are taken care of. This mom usually ignored or pushed off this baby when Daniela was nursing at the breast. These videos show neglect and harsh treatment sets up children up to be harmed.
