Agreed! The timpani part is extremely fun. Even as someone who mostly plays grade 4 and 4.5 pieces now, it’s still fairly challenging with the stick movements on the solos. Love this piece!

I remember hearing the end of the song, and I felt so proud of myself. It was an honor to be in All County Band. This results of practice blew me away. This is the most beautiful and adventurous song I had ever heard.

Yes!! I'm playing xylo/marimba for this and it is so fun. It gets me going whenever we hit the percussion breaks.
