Really like the "down to a 't'" joke. To be fair, most of these worked for me. I like this sort of straightforward humour. Every joke is as lean and tight as it can be, with no unnecessarily rambling set-up. Also, I absolutely loved the Stephen Fry joke. Because, for better or for worse, indeed every single book has a foreword by Stephen Fry, whether the author likes it or not.
@@shadowpenguin3482 Lol, Scotts say "the" as "t' ", as in the sound that "t" makes; they contract a lot of words when they speak. e.g. "g'day" meaning "good day", and specifically for this joke, "t'kettle's boiling" means "the kettle is boiling". Lots of contractions. :) So, Adrian's "down to a T" joke is actually a double entendre: the Scotts both literally have the word "the" [contracted] "down to a T", and they also have the word "the" down pat / exactly right (using the phrase "down to a T" / "down to a tee" to mean "perfectly right").
That was brilliant Adrian! Your comedy style fills the humour slot in my brain perfectly. Which if you think about it, could have a sexual meaning. Anyway, I hope you plan on doing more. I could probably watch an entire hour of your stand up.
THAT WAS SO GOOD!! Almost without exception each joke made me laugh, right from the start, which is hard to do over RU-vid while I'm eating a meal in a rush. A delight of a show and I would love to come watch a show of yours if you come to London. All the best
I love how the first two minutes (which already have pretty good lines, but kind of lack rhythm in my opinion) basically act as a setup for a clever, deliciously absurd machine gun of a sketch. Every single sentence hits home. That's brilliant, and I wish I could just teleport to (Southern) England to see you live.
