Adrian Roger's was one of the greatest preachers, ever. How wonderful of the church he pastored to still be making his sermons available, via radio and internet, all these years later.
Amen! Praise God for continuing Adrian Rogers's ministry for 20+ years after He took Adrian home. I pray God will continue Adrian's ministry till Jesus comes back. I thank God for anointing and gifting Adrian Rogers to teach us His precious Word. I have been blessed beyond words by this faithful man of God.

Such awesome power come to the world in humility and of no station. To think Jesus would leave His throne and come to earth as a mortal man, no man could ever claim God knows nothing of the difficulty each man experiences in life. Indeed, Jesus lived the very picture of a humble life. Born in a stable because the local hotel had no more room and his parents had not enough money whereby they could use the very best of accommodations. He grew up learning his father's trade, carpentry. And during His ministry He had no home, or food and His disciples only had as much money as people would share with them as He traveled. He had no place to rest except that which various believers offered Him a place to sleep and a meal. He was vilified, and ploted against, lied about and the object of ridicule and conspiracy to kill Him. The very people, His own people, who praised Him at His arrival in Jerusalem at the the coming of Passover, a week later screamed for Jesus' crucifixion, at the urging of the Pharisees and Sadducees. And He endured an incredible beating and whipping with the very skin shredding and hanging from his body, muscles ripped from bone, Jesus died an agonizing death, as the people mocked Him, seeking to wreak emotional destruction on top of indescribable physical agony. And He died for those very sinners. People who lived at that time on history and for every sinner who would ever walk the face of the earth in the human history to come. He was the very Messiah the great Patriarchs, and Prophets, and the common Jew waited for in the Era of history preceeding His birth. Imagine any one if us going to such a death, willingly, for people who did and would hate us so much.

Actually we are living at a time when some will never taste death at all. These will be the survivors of the coming great war. Read Matthew 24:13, Revelations 7:9,10,14. God is now gathering these potential survivors and training them as prophesied at Micah 4:1-5.

We are to be careful by putting too much reliance on a pastor or considered GREAT Minister, but more faith in the written words of God via the Holy Bible. These men should allow them sleves a margin of err in their teachings, especially if it conflicts with Scriptures.

There are many who are very skilled in their deceit. I believe Adrian Rogers was one of those God called. I've never heard any message of his that I thought was in any way contradictory to Scripture.
The judgement is not as soon as someone dies. The resurrections of people including Lazarus would make this clear. Hebrews 9:27 is stating what generally happens to humans Compare Romans 5:12. The judgement will be after humans are resurrected (Acts 24:15), and given a new opportunity to qualify for: (Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it. This preacher has the absolute gift of storytelling. Perfect tone, tenor, and tempo. Captivating and interesting throughout with a Biblical message that is extremely powerful. Truly a messenger of God.
Storytelling, when I was a child, was, and still is I believe, reading from a book of fairy tales or making up little stories to amuse the children. Listening to this jackass, nothing has changed.

I have never heard of any Christian apologist, including the pope, any bishops, priests, pastors, or preachers when ill or suffering, asking to be sent to the church for the congregation to pray for them. Dr Rogers was a great preacher. However, he has never been able to bring revival to this wicked generation. The reason is that the church has not the desire to please God. Dr Rogers may well have pleased God in the exercise of his gifts and faithfulness in his calling. Be that as it may, it will not, indeed cannot, help anyone else. I'm asking YOU, are you faithful and obedient in your Christian walk? Are YOU keeping the commandments of Christ? Are YOU continuing in the word of God as a Berean might? Beloved, so many today think they are something they are not. Don't be to sure of yourself just because you like Dr Rogers.

As Christians it should have had as many as viewed it with signing the service with a thumbs up. I always say that God says we will be happy in Heaven. People ask about their deceased pets-if they make you happy then they will be there. The Bible speaks of animals in Heaven. It will be wonderful!

And if you are at the Great White Throne of Judgment, not at the Bema Seat of Christ Judgment then bring ice cream, lots of it. For believers names have already been sealed, and written in the Lambs Book of Life.

Your mention of your boyhood questions about Heaven and baseball brought to mind the lighthearted story of two old baseball players who asked the question of whether or not there is baseball in Heaven as they pondered their old age and destiny. One day one of them passed away and came to his old friend in a dream and resumed their old camaraderie about their mutual beloved sport. Well tell me now, is there baseball in Heaven? His ghostly buddy replied, well let me say this, I have good news for you and bad news. Tell me the good news! The good news is there is baseball in Heaven. And the bad news is??? I have been more influenced and impacted by Godly people that don’t speak about God constantly. It’s how they live, their actions that show me all that I need to see and it makes me want to me more and more Christ-like. I’ve been a Christian since I was 14. And I now see that people attending church can represent God on Sunday, but when you step foot in their home, it is visible that they don’t really know who God is. His laws don’t mean anything to them. As true Christians though, and if you’re really saved, God laws and obeying what He has written should and always be something you strive to live by❤

The question I want to share in this sermon Mr. Rogers is telling us here has puzzled me for quite sometime. Mind you, I am not writing this to belittle or comprimise Mr. Rogers sermon. My question will start with this: In Romans 6:23, Paul, the Apostle tells is..."For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal (everlasting) life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Jesus spoke many times that he came in order to give us eternal life to live forever. This eternal or everlasting life is a gift we receive through our faith in Christ by the Father God. But if the unrepentant, evil & wicked sinner spends eternity in hell, he has to be given an everlasting or eternal life to experience alive the torment of this place forever. But if you are given eternal life as a gift through Jesus, a person would not be in hell whatsoever. And if he does have an eternal existing life in hell of which a person must have....where did this eternal life come from? If eternal life is a gift given to us through Jesus, do unrepentant, evil & wicked sinner have some kind of a mysterious eternal life seperate from the authority of God's plan for eternal life? This really lays heavy on my mind because, if a person has eternal life, he received this through Jesus as a gift by God's authority and would not be in hell. If a person goes to hell, how does he survive the pain of hell forever because he would not have eternal life? Nowhere in the bible does it tell you that unrepentant sinners are given the gift of eternal life whatsoever. The bible also makes plain that we do not have an immortal soul that last forever. This is nowhere in scripture! Paul tells us the wages of sin is death and he says no more concerning this situation! Is it an eternal death because that is what it seems Paul is telling us here? So how do unrepentant sinners have everlasting life to endure forever the pains of hell being that eternal life is a gift from God? Can you clear this up for me?
The wages of sin is death. Period. The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. Period. We will all die because we all have sinned. Jesus is Who we have to go to in order to receive eternal life. Otherwise, we will obtain the second death, with no hope of a resurrection. That is all.

And not as an evangelical but as a Jesuit-raised scholar. I can quote all you wish from Genesis to Revelation and beyond. So, my first question has to be from Genesis which claims that god made the heaven and the earth, then he made light. Science has PROVEN that light came first, so, how do you answer that one???

A brain-damaged hermit named John the Elder, or John the Divine resided on the Island of Patmos, off the coast of Asia Minor. During his lifetime, he consumed large amounts of a sweetener called 'Sarpy' which contained 20 times the amount of lead acceptable by the human body. This resulted in severe brain damage resulting in disturbing dreams, one of which was the so-called 'Revelations.' Some of the early Biblical compilers were unsure whether his rantings should even be included in the book as they considered them to be the ravings of a lunatic. Others who saw them as prophetic won the argument and they are there today for other brain-damaged individuals to read and believe in.
This Godly man is Dr. Adrian Rogers from Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis TN. Quick witted he truly walked the walk lost him in 2005 check out his Adrianisms - one of my favorites is A lot of kneeling wil keep you in good standing.

I also ask in the name of Jesus of Nazareth to provide knowledge of your word when wr speak to Gentiles whovdoesnt know you : John 17:3 Not 36% , nor 73% , neither 99% but 100% to confirmed to us that we are on your side 100% of your righteousness is on our side , 100% of your Holiness Is on our side , 100% of your will is on our side so we see and delight that you are for us and fully on our side 2Chronicles 7 : 14-15 , 7 : 17-18 ; in tje name of Jesus-Christ who wS & is your Lamb sent by you Father God to become the Savior of our spirit tjat you gave us ypur Holy Spirit who is the ancre to grab us not to lose but to keep safe for your return and tje joy of your presence in your Heavenly Kingdom in the highest in Heaven of the heavens Amen & Amen in Jesus name I prayed to you
After you die Jesus takes the spirit. Hope you are saved by the blood of Jesus. After you die then comes the judgement. No more time to decide whether you want to be saved. That's it.
