Can't Believe that Adrian is going to be 70 Tomorrow!,Happy Birthday Adrian!!,One of the best of the guitar greats!!, You don't look 70 man and I love your guitars
@@Angelo-fo8de They might cause who knows about this dude and this guitar exept people who are 30+? and thos people can afford it more than kids nowadays
in the lte 80s - early 90s not sure of the exact date me n a friend got to the arena early to see whitesnake so we decided to walk around the outside of the stadium we were each leaning on the wall next to a door one on each side then a bus pulled up. The entire band walked out and into the door right between us ...Adrian , David, Steve, Tomi , Rudy etc. it was pretty cool
When these first came out they were $499-$699. I played a brand new one in a music store "back in the day". Now you cant hardly touch one without getting a loan. Very pricey. I was considering buying one recently. Hopefully the re-issue price will have its head out of the clouds a little.
Cool, the V-Type is back! Peavey used to have these really cool guitars. I love the Rotor and the Vortex. Unfortunately haven't been able to find a V-Type yet.
My favorite SHREDER Guitar is a 1988 Peavy with one Seymour Duncan Invader pickup and locking tremoolo the neck was nice and flat perfect for fast playing.
Really really cool guitar!! Love the look/color of this 2.0 version a lot and the fretboard in particular looks amazing!! The original Pink one was a real eye catcher. Hope there will be a pink version again. Never played one though. I’m lefthanded so it would be great if there were to be a lefthanded version in the future…🙏
I really wish I could bond with a wide and flat neck. I have smallish hands and love a 12-16 compound and a 42mm nut. I had an original Vandenberg model but couldn't get used to the short scale board either. It was a lovely guitar though.
Totally incorrect. Adrian broke his wrist in a skiing accident. Steve recorded all the guitar parts except the solo for Is This Love which Adrian had previously recorded before his injury. By the time they began the tour, Adrian was healthy enough to perform. Not sure where that rumor started. Absolutely zero sense that he would fake an injury. The bigger issue is that solo he recorded in the studio is the only studio recording Adrian ever did for WS after joining the band and touring the world for two album cycles.
@@mykuntstynx9463 if you read my post I said rumor you dmf! It was a rumor ! And hate to break it to ya but Steve wasn’t the only one that played lead. Watch videos of that tour and see for yourself. The problem with leaving a comment is you have people like you, know it all losers that try to impress others with their limited knowledge. Thanks for your input Delbert
@@gwhiz3708 Don't feed the trolls bud. If his "my balls still haven't dropped" name has not already tipped you off, his complete bullshit post must have. I'm really happy that you got to see Whitesnake on their "Slip Of The Tongue" Tour. The band was on fire back then! The current Vandenberg line up is great aswell, If you get the chance to see them live I definitely recommend it.
@@gwhiz3708 Clearly you didn't read my reply or you just can't read. I SAID IN THE STUDIO AZZOLE. JUST GOOGLE IT. ADRIAN NEVER RECORDED ANYTHING IN THE STUDIO OTHER THAN THE SOLO FOR IS THIS LOVE. FACTS DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS.
@@HOOKSnKISSES Eat a bowl of em dude. It literally says in the album credits of Slip of the Tongue "due to injury Adrian was unable to perform on this album. We thank Steve for fulfilling all guitar responsibilities" This has been a known FACT for decades. Literally says it in the credits.
The Vandenberg was my first real guitar in 1989. I'm thinking now about grabbing this new one. Do you think they're worth the money? Compared to say a mij EVH
Having been to Holland, I'd say that there are a lot more tall people than the UK, Ireland and definitely the Mediterranean nations, who have a shortage of six footers. Can't say for the rest of the world as I've never been outside the European area.
@@PKC-r7w yea I don't know how many they will sell at $3k only with todays economy, Vandy's a have cult following but money is tight for so many right now, but yea they need a better priced version, I bet they would still want at least $1500 for a bolt on. That is still way too much IMO I was afraid the prices will make the re-issue a flop. I don't think they can sell enough at $3k to call it a success. Plus Peavey is not popular right now for guitars and amps. Adrian is not with Whitesnake and WS is not even touring anyways. I think they waited too long to do a re-issue and a bad economy with $3k guitars is not going to go over very well. I could be wrong, LOL
Great guitarist. . I don't like the guitar. People that want to homage Jimi gravitate to upside down headstock. 6 in line on the bottom, and to me that is just dumb. Harder to reach, harder to tune....Jimi did it because he was left handed and wasn't a lot of left handed guitars at the time. So he used a right handed guitar upside down. So nowadays, guys like this that are right handed want the same thing. Which means putting a lefty neck on a righty body which only adds inconvenience of tuning the guitar much like Jimi had being a lefty playing a righty. 🤔 If Jimi played a les Paul, only the tuning direction on the pegs would of changed. But to be a righty on a strat with a lefty neck and headstock is just dumb. I would never buy that headstock configuration as a righty.
