I was w my ex bf for 24 years, left him 3 times went back & it was the same crap NO change from him to value me & our only one son, we were not his 1st priority, he took us for granted & didn't appreciate us. Never was a family man NO quality father son time. It's his loss how dad has no memories to look back @, was a neg relationship for many years I was f... Done!, left this man Jan 2013 & didn't look back. I had to be that strong 💪 woman to move forward. Many years wasted of my life, my happiness is more important peace & clarity. So ALL you women out their not to take crap from your other 1/2 have your dignity & self respect

The years I wasted, good years when I was young and beautiful and healthy and resilient…I wish I had valued myself more and cut the ties sooner. It took years for my heart to fully mend but almost immediately My life actually became brighter and more fulfilled. With better job opportunities etc

I wish I could give him his marching orders but we live together and just signed a year long lease! Unfortunately in this economic climate I can’t afford to move out and actually NEED his help financially for rent and bills -> Everything, including the rent has doubled this year.

I am the exact same. My nr one criteria these days is that if Imma be with someone its gotta be someone whom I actually LIKE being around and spending my time with. I love being by myself and am nearly never bored; i love working to grow smarter, wiser and becoming more at peace with myself. If imma invite someone into my sacred little bubble, my inner world, and offer my precious time up to them, they are gonna have to be even greater company than I find my own company. I wont have nobody come disrupt my peace.

I second that ! I just ended a 7 year relationship cause of that same reason. The minute he came around I felt on edge, irritable, empty and my peace literally left. When I was on my own I felt fine. That's when I knew he wasn't the one. That is one of the biggest signs God gives you.

@Roxanne B nothing will ever feel better or be good for you Long term as always respecting yourself and loving you enough to not let someone use your time. I really had to say “my dad would not be good with this”. And I am proud everyday I wake up. It physically hurts. It does. But I’m so proud of myself.

Give yourself the love you give to others. Find your worth inside and the rest will follow. Create a life you love. Find books on emotional intellegnce, self love, attachment anxiety, confidence etc whatever you struggle with. It will help you build the foundation you need to grow. Don't settle because of these current feelings. Figure them out then when you're ready the right man can be found once your not seeking love out of fear. Good luck be kind to yourself but also hold yourself accountable. Never too late to change .

Friend, I don't know you, and only God knows your heart. But please, the advice on this video does not help our families remain strong. They are basing it off of "self seeking happiness", which is a fleeting emotion. In real life, kids need strong two parent homes, women and men need each other, women run out of options to find suitable mates the older we get, and being single in old age is sometimes unaffordable on a single person salary. These women are rich women, and only one of them is single, and not by choice. Please get advice from a reliable source, I'm not saying you're making the wrong choice, I don’t know the situation. But these women are not for families, they are for "self", and they are unrealistic. In real life, we destroy our foundations and families by looking out for “ourselves only”. Humans, we are stronger as units. Please seek advice from people who have shown themselves respectful to families, not just the individual. God bless your family!!!

Omg literally same! Been 5 days since the breakup, we were together since we were 19, now 23. This show gets me through everything 😭🥺 and it’s been years of me asking for the bare minimum. We deserve so much more
