Just started watching you and I love your videos. I just got a normal ball python and these videos are great I just finished all your ball python videos !!!
Also please do research on the signs of common illnesses in bearded dragons, both adults and babies, I didn’t realize how sick my baby was until it was too late and I don’t want that to happen to anyone else
I just got my bearded dragon two weeks ago his name is Gollum and he is very healthy. Could you do a part two of common bearded dragon mistakes that new owners make?
I would love to add a recommendation for a solarmeter so you can make sure they are getting the right level of UVB with those awesome tube lights. They can get too much, too little, and it's good to know if their normal basking spot is getting a good amount.... and also when your bulb needs to be replaced (and it is hardly ever "every 6 months")
“Are you trying to eat my plant? Is that what you’ve been doing this whole time?? Ma’am, you have a salad. In your tank. That you didn’t eat.” A daily conversation with my new adult beardy as well, almost verbatim!! 😂
My ball python isn't eating since he sheded like 2 weeks ago and now he's not eating he's not sick but he's like a little bit skinny. The rats smelled terrible and I had to switch it up and get new ones and he still didn't try it. Now I'm not sure what to do😥
I have 2 bearded dragons and one is perfect but the vet put my other one on a diet so I’m working on him losing weight but he hates to eat his greens so I’ve been putting bee Pollen on top. Great video !
Rewatching a bunch of your beardie care videos- that are conveniently sorted in their own playlist. 😁 Recently got my 1st bearded dragon from someone who had to rehome theirs. Have watched countless beardie care videos over the years. But now brushing up on their care so I don't miss anything. Thanks for having all this awesome content for me to watch through again. 😊
Thank you for this video. My baby will be transitioning to an adult next month. I’m impatiently waiting for her 120 gallon tank to come. Should be any day now
I have a a bearded dragon that looks exactly like the one you’re holding. She was a rescue. I was told she’s 2 years old. I was kind of curious about what kind of beardie she is…not that it super important because I love her. She’s super sweet and is a great eater. She loves her fruits and veggies!
My brothers beardie is about 2 years old he Got it when it was like the size of a finger but he does not believe they need water he never bathes her he goes weeks without feeding her Sometimes even months and I just gave her her first water bowl and She just sat there and chugged it The humidity in her tank is very low and she has never had a salad she has one hide in her cage and that’s it in a 40 gallon thrive kit from Petsmart He’s cleaned the tank maybe five times since he’s got her and I just feel so bad for her I do not know how she is still alive so I’m watching this video so I can take care her.
Hi! 😊 I'm not sure if you mean the link to the lighting video or the actual lights. But the lighting video is the first link listed in the description box (after you click "See More") under "Helpful Videos". All of the links to the actual lights are listed under "Helpful Items" (Which is right under the time stamps). I just double checked and they're all there 😊
I live in norway and my local petstore only sell mealworms (i think idk what type of worms) and crickets. So do the dubia dude deliver to Norway, or is it to far away?
If I had about 1-inch discoid roaches, how many should I give my adult beardie a day if I feed her three times a week? I can’t find a specific number anywhere and I want to be sure I’m not under/overfeeding
A neither great video. So glad my beardy loves her veggies. What do you know about Arcadia deep heat bulbs for Beardie? I was thinking of using one for her heat in New enclosure. I have there lineir bulb for UVB. Thank you for teaching us about reptiles. GOD BLESS and have a great Sunday 🐲💖🐲💖🐲💖
Yea, Zsasz was a bit stubborn, because she doesn't even like bee pollen (I feel like all beardies love bee pollen), and she's scared of most fruits 🤦🏽♀️
Thanks for this video! I have my Randy for half of year and he was about 4 months old when I got him, so timing of releasing this video is precise :) Good to know everything before it starts Questions: Tubes. I use Arcadia 12% and they claim that lamp can be in operation for whole 12 months. Isn't it? And how do you recycle lamps, since they are not usual ones Supplement: Sorry, maybe I missed that or didn't get it properly. You dust only dubias each feed or veggies?
Hello! I have a question. I'm getting a beardie soon BUT I'm bringing it home from 4 hours away as well as its home so i can't have its tank set up before i get it :/ what can i do to make that situation better for the little beardie saving him as much stress as i can
If my beardies stress lines are light coloured and grey is that a problem? She’s like a year old and she only has head bobbed a few times she has done that twice today is that also a problem?
Hey Elle this video has good information for people taking care of bearded dragons they are very cool lizards my father in law owns one but if I get one in the future this video is very helpful thank you
My beardie is abt 7/8 months old and he doesnt eat salad at all no matter what I do and I'm worried he eats his bugs but doesn't eat the salad so I kinda of make a slurry out of it
@@ellesreptiles Thank You , I'll be sure to wash them . I even wash the organic stuff really good ., just to be safe.. Now I can try to expand their menu.. Oscar is Picky , Liz eats just about anything so far.
I also have a question... my bearded dragon will not eat his salads, I've tried pretty much everything you can feed a beardie and I've even tried putting his feeders in the salad... but he flat out refuses to eat it or even get close to it. Any tips?
Have you tried bee pollen? Also maybe he doesn’t like those certain greens, try some berries, they love berries but not too many. They are very sugary!
New to the channel, loving the content and really useful info with Beardies helping me learn about there needs and requirements before getting mine. Thanks Elle 😃👍
A 4x2x2’ enclosure (120 gallons) is the minimum for an adult, but bigger is strongly recommended. Many people believe the minimum should be even bigger than that.
I have a confession… I neglected my beardie for a few months, I still fed him and bathed him but I never gave him attention, I’ve decided to start interacting with him and loving him again and he loves me
I also have a confession. I’ve neglected my older boy a bit. The pst 4 months we’ve moved, pandemic was happening, I had to quit my job and I lost a group of friends. So I was dealing with depression. I admit I didn’t feed my boy every day and he lost some weight. But now that I’m better I’m feeding him every day and loving him.
