Amazing project well done!!! I have also thought of using this kind of motors as linear actuators but never actually implemented it..

thats pretty much perfect, from my understanding. but i guess theyve had perfect bodies for a while, the new thing thats different is getting them to move decently.

i am very impressed with what you had done and wish you would have continued. I am scaling down design to be very similar to my old one. But with more power to weigh ratio. The new low torso should be ready next week.

It is not slow when you fix it near the pivot point of an ankle/knee/etc you can calculate the angular velocity with the proper articulation's metrics
