Calculate missing number: Answer is 1 you add 10 on the numbers in the small square to get the numbers on the big square so 5 + 10= 15, 13+10= 23, 22+10= 32, and last 1+ 10 = 11

Is there a right or wrong way to getting to the answer? My answer is 1 but method of getting there is different; The difference between numbers in a big circle is 4 and 11 (Horizontally), and the small circle has difference of 11 already which which means only 4 is left, so 5-4=1

Missing number in the smaller square. In the outer square we see the smallest number is 11. 11 + 4 =15 15 + 8 = 23 23 + 9 = 32 Inner square: If we use the same steps we can say / guess that: x + 4 = 5 (implies 1) => then apply same rules as above: 5 + 8 does equal 13 13 + 9 does equal 22 I see you have the answer the same but based on different logic. Is this answer therefore wrong? :-)

Afruit drink made from orange juice and water is diluted with more water so that final solution is 1/4 water. If the original solutionwas 90% orange juice and two litres of water were added, how many litres are in the final solution of the fruit drink?
@jsclion
@jsclion 11 месяцев назад
x / 2L = 9/10 x =1,8, where x is juice in Liter, so original solution is 1,8 L / 2 L. If you want to dilute to 1/4, equation become 1/4 = (1,8 L) / (2 L + x), where x is added water in Liter, so x = 5,2 L and adding the 2 liter makes solution 1,8 L / 7,2 L - making answer 7,2 L.

To solve the square problem, one can identify that following the counter clockwise direction, te sequence is number + 4, then number + 8, then number + 9.If you apply that pattern on the inner square, you get x equals to 1.

Assuming that the third trip =x And you can follow the video till the conclusion that Second trip= 4x First trip=3x And of course as mentioned before the third trip =x We know from the given that the total of all trips= 1200 miles So we will add all of the X's from the trip to get the total So , 4x+3x+x =1200 8x=1200 X=1200÷8 I hope this helps :)
