Advanced Trimix... As Deep As It Gets! This is the last video in our series looking at the core training progression of the Open Circuit (OC) Technical Diver. We are dropping out O2 percentage to hypoxic levels and going to the maximum depth a sport diver can reach... 330ft or 100m!
As always, we are going to look at the training involved, the prerequisites for advanced trimix course and the qualifications of those elite divers and who this course is best suited for. If you are ready to join the 1% of the 1% of divers, this is the ultimate challenge in scuba diving.
The underwater footage was shot on a dive with friends of mine on the Queen Of Nassau, an old wreck found in 230ft of water, 5 miles off the coast of Islamorada in the Florida Keys. Diving the Florida Keys is amazing, but this wreck is deep, dark and scary!
