This is the third video in our Advancements in Digital Dentistry series. In this video, we explore the advantages of additive manufacturing regarding partial denture framework.
It's been over two years since Utica Dental Lab invested in an EOS M100 3D Metal Printer. The changes to our lab procedure has been revolutionary. It's hard to put into words how much more control our lab techs now possess when designing and producing your partial frames.
Remakes for fit have been nearly eliminated! This video runs through what exactly makes DMLS such a superior manufacturing technique.
Thank you to #EosNorthAmerica and @EOS GmbH Electro Optical Systems for sharing their video animation.

I just had a partial made from a 3D scan for the first time. I assume it used 3D printing as well. It fit perfectly, without the many adjustments usually required for plastic ones made from impressions.
