I'm working through them with preference to ones that play on my Macbook (not many of those these days). That #1 game was cute and quite polished for a free game, though a bit short of course. One thing I always wondered about pixel games like the one with Poe, Lovecraft, Dan Brownx (other than why his name has an x at the end) is why do the characters bob up and down like they are pumping something up? Nobody does that.
@@AdventureGameGeek about the one-letter-name-change there's an "answer" about that at the end of the game (in something in-game Marco says to Stine) - but yes - it's also a way to avoid any absolutely-impossible problem with real living writers. About the odd breathing animation - well I don't like static scenes so having them is a way to avoid completely still images (I've tried eyes blink - but with low res even that is "odd" IMHO)
