Adventure Noob!! ABR Festival Bridgestone Trial 2023 - Kawasaki Versys-X 300

Now this video is ambitious, but it might turn out to be unwatchable! What I wanted to do is create (almost) a complete lap of the ABR Festival's Bridgestone Trial, but make it out the highlights of the five laps that I completed during the weekend so I could combine all of my different camera angles together.
So watch it as if it was one full lap of the trial, but if all the jumps between the different laps end up being too confusing to watch, please let me know. Then I'll know if the seven hours it took to edit it (in one sitting) was worth it or not!
I am a off road novice, so most of the lap was the standard trail, with a couple of expert sections thrown in 🙈

Hi Ricky, I also took my 300X Versys around the trail. Great little all rounders they are. I didn’t fall off and we didn’t embarrass ourselves unlike some twonks on their bigger machines. I thoroughly agree with you about about 3rd gear.

I did see another green 300X Versys during the weekend - I guess that was you! Yes the bike did great on the day. And another plus compared to bigger bikes is that it doesn't even feel too heavy when carrying loads of camping gear and luggage either.

Hey chap, i'm SURE it was you that we saw regularly at ABR, myself and Lucas were camped quite close to the entrance, i had the blue CG125 and Lucas had the BMW 650GS! Sorry we couldn't find you on the last day there, i did pop by your tent twice but nobody was home, then we spent half hour searching round in the events areas, had a final ice cream for a farewell and got packed up.. We'll be back for ABR Festival 2024 for certain, already bought our tickets! Hope you're keeping well, all the best.

Hi David, you're right it was a great weekend! Would have been a different story if it was raining though. For tyres, I've only used one non OEM set so far which are the Metzeler M9RR. I think they are a great tyre but don't seem to last too long. I think a Michelin Road 6 are a set that have got good reviews but there are lots of good choices out there to be honest that I haven't tried... So I can't be too much help to be honest, sorry.

Hi Drowken, I took my own cameras so I'm not sure of the costs of using theirs, sorry!
