Here is a tour of Cabin 7557 on the Adventure of the Seas which is a Promenade Interior Cabin (category 2T). It is sandwiched between cabins on decks six and eight and overlooks the promenade on deck five. Directly below this cabin on deck five are shopping venues. Across from this cabin down on deck five is the Cafe Promenade. It is close to the forward elevators making it a very convenient location.
We loved being able to people watch and see the parades from the window seat in our cabin. Having the window seat in addition to the love seat also gives the room more seating space.
Although the closet is plenty large, the cabin could really use more useable drawer space but otherwise it isn't bad for storage. There are small shelves behind the side mirrors above the desk in the cabin.
Most of the time, the cabin is pretty quiet. You don't hear a lot of the day to day noise from the promenade. However, when there is a party or band in the promenade, it is quite noisy. On this eight day cruise, we have had at least three nights with loud entertainment that went until about midnight. If you are one to join in on that nighttime entertainment, it won't bother you. If you are someone who goes to bed early, it may bother you.
There are two US outlets and a European outlet at the desk plus an outlet for razors in the bathroom. Being an older ship, there are no outlets or power sources by the nightstands.
This particular cabin is missing the sheer curtains so the window is either fully open or the blackout curtains are pulled. There is also a drawer with a broken track. Otherwise, there aren't any significant condition issues that we noticed. Note - the ship does go into dry dock in the fall of 2024 and so these things may get fixed at that time.
