Mull and Iona are both amazing islands. I'd start on Mull, where I'd hike into the mountains to enjoy a great night at Tomsleibhe Bothy. It rained all night and so I did battle with waterlogged tussocks to get great views from one of the summits.
After this, I then headed onto Iona. What an island! Barely three miles long, it offered stunning white sandy beaches and a sense of tranquility hard to replicate anywhere else. A very special place for sure.
