My heck, the more I see of Scotland, the more I just want to spend like a good 2 months just exploring there! Beautiful colors! I know the yellow hedge flowers were starting to bloom on skye when I was there last week! Amazing share!

Ey up Jimbo. Apologies for the delay in watching, but I’ve been on the Cumbria Way over the last week. What a stunning trip you had there. The weather was certainly kind to you on this occasion. Every time I see the crystal blue waters of the islands it amazes me that it’s this country. I’d love to live on one of those islands, it would be absolute bliss. Got to be one of my favourites. Last time I was there I was supposed to do the Mull Sportive but the weather was so good 25°+ I decided I didn’t want miss out on Iona so I started at Salen early morning down to Iona and then took the road at Beg Bridge and round by Loch Na Keel and Gruline back it was an epic day about 90 miles. Saw so many deer and white tail eagles. Next day I did the north loop which is a bit tougher but just awesome scenery again. Some great gravel on Mull too. It’s an island I’d quite happily live on the locals are lovely. Sometimes your just as well on a site as some bits of Mull are tic central lol. The Abbey is a photographers dream but to be honest you really need to be there to feel that special atmosphere. Iona is quite popular for cold water swimming the water is lovely. Still hoping to get back in a few months.

Only ever driven that Jim but it does make a fine bike packing route. Something special about getting a ferry from an island onto another island. Iona always feels so calming though I'm not religious. Thanks for the pillion ride. A

Great video as always. Mull and Iona look amazing and as luck would have it they are one of my first ports of call when I go bike touring Scotland in about a month. Hopefully the weather is just as nice as what you had!

Looks like you timed the weather just right Jim. I a week touring Mull and Iona a couple of years ago. Had a brilliant time.

Awesome that Jim. Iona is one of my favourite islands. You must check out the north beach next time or Traigh an t-Suidh as it is known. It's like the Caribbean, albeit a tad cooler. It's a breathtaking beach on a breathtaking island.

Ha! I rembemer when I drove the black cabs in Edinburgh.an American couple got in and asked to be taken to 10 NA.after a bit,and them repeating 10 NA a few times.I finally realised they wanted to go to Iona street 😂.👍

Now then speckled Jim, two Bonny islands right there, very pretty, loved the gorse or broome looked lovely, I don’t know why silly things I remember, but one that’s popped in my head is the ex Labour leader John Smith is buried on Iona. Looks very peaceful, can’t believe you restricted yourself to two carry outs. Must be wonderful having Hebrides so close, very envious, but living it vicariously through you, so thank you for taking me along, not sure when I’ll get out next but hopefully not too much longer all the best from Tito Troddletastic 👍

£18 for a solo pitch even for mull is on the expensive side and if you look at the campsite they are costing the tents out of it

What tent do you use ?

Bloody hell Jim that was brilliant, been there myself on the motorcycle as I led a group of 7. I’m not cycling this weekend now as gone off the idea, worked too hard today and wore me out. Anyway really enjoyed that. 🍻🏕️👍
