This is the episode where I instantly became Team Green and was against Rhaenyra. 3 obvious bastard kids creates nothing but problems for her entire reign. This is so true, after the third child, the king had all right to disinherit her, I think the fact that she kept doing it and getting away with it, emboldened her. Now she expects the entire realm to bend to her bastard sons.

I see your point. I wasn’t looking at it that way, also you could argue that why not name her brother as her heir he younger than her after all, don’t commit treason and expect everyone should be okay with it, because that’s what her actions are treason 🤷🏾♂️
@@EverydayReacts-ev8mw Definitely that would rseolve most issue with Rhaenyra chose as her heir on of her brothers. However, she was an heir, and it was her right to decide she chooses her children. I do not see she commited any treason - she made agreement with Laenor, and both her father and Laenor's father supported outcome.
@@EverydayReacts-ev8mw If she named her brother as her heir it would remove the line of succession from Aemma's line to Alicent's. The victory would still be the Hightowers. Plus if she did that she would be disinheriting her sons, confirming their illegitimacy, and sentencing them and possibly her own self, to death. Her son marrying Alicent's daughter was a good solution but because Jace is illegitimate Alicent was like hell nah. Rhaenyra needed heirs or she would be denied the throne and for being incapable of having children, however I do think she should have checked the Velaryons for a father. At least the children would look mixed with white hair. Maybe she felt it was better to have children with a man completely devoted to her so as to ensure no betrayal.
