Got it. Returned. It’s very annoying to take anything from main compartment since this YKK zippers hurts fingers. Also after day sling it feels very small inside but bulky outside because of boxy shape
I bought a Aer Day Sling 3 recently and decided to return it because I find the material used thick and rigid sort of taken up more space. I wonder if x-pac also hs the same rigid material because it fit more stuffs than it look to.
I’ve been torn between buying this or the Bellroy sling mini! I just feel like the city sling is gonna look bulky since I really only need a place for my phone, car keys, wallet, sunglasses
Great review, as always. Curious, what are your top 3-5 slings? I use the Trakke Largo sling (5 L) which I thought was going to be ginormous on me (female, 5’6,” 17” torso and back is about 17” across) but it works well. Great construction, dig the waxed canvas, Cobra buckle (which I thought would add weight but haven't noticed it), molds to my body, sufficient pockets (fits an IPhone 13 in a slot), water-resistant zippers, webbing for keys, thick strap, would fit an iPad mini/maybe something bigger (but the compartment is not raised or well-padded, so protect your tech). Some complain about the cotton strap on this and the Banana rubbing their necks. I can see how that might be swinging the bag around your body. But so far, so good. I also love my Trakke Banana and Tom Bihn Side Effect (which I also wear like a belt). I thought the Evergoods Mountain Hip Pack (3.5L though it seems much larger than the Largo) was going to be a good addition to my collection but it turned out to be too large - too wide across my back/front for fanny or sling and a front pocket that protrudes a bit too much for my liking. For the right person, it has great features (like the padded back). Too bad for me. I wish they would make a slightly smaller version. Always on the hunt for "the one" which has become the many.
I don’t have many slings myself. In general, the Aer City Sling and the Tom Bihn Side Effect are the only two I useZ I had a blue Evergoods MHP, but it’s just too big for my body type.
