I actually have 2 of the Aer slings (regular and xpac). I love them but wish that it had just a little more room. I am currently using the Alpaka Bravo X as my daily.

Im in a dilemma on what to choose between regular and xpac version. Any suggestions?

@@yudhisarfan1224 I have the city sling in regular and xpac. I will choose xpac all day because: 1. Xpac provide more structure to the sling/ 2. The aquaguard main zipper is harder to open - meaning more security./ 3. Peace of mind since xpac is waterproof.

I returned my Bellroy Sling for lack of internal organization and having a small opening which made it hard to access the stuff inside. Went with the Aer City Sling, still waiting for it to arrive.

For a Fair Comparison to the AER Day Sling 2, I would Suggest the Tomtoc EDC Sling... You probably wondering what Tomtoc is... Their pretty off the Radar and underrated, but they can Compete... Their based in Chino, CA, Check them out sometime... Planning to Buy both Soon...

Aer sling looks sick and has better organization. Wish it had a fidlock buckle instead.

I'm on the fence for the bellroy. The magnet strap system sounds really convenient and the shape and size are PERFECT but I'm afraid of potential thief's able to snatch the bag from my back easily because of the magnets. Nobody ever mentions how it holds up against a good pull or snag when wearing it.

I own the Bellroy, and I'm confident that a strong tug or sharp pull will not affect the buckle. The design is such that it locks against lateral pulls. The buckle is undone by sliding the snap in the opposite direction from a right angle pull, if that makes sense. It's easy to take off if you want, but very hard to yank off if just grabbed by the bag or strap.

It will fit fine without a case on the iPad mini. With a case it's tight when you close the zipper

Shame that Bellroy don't acknowledge that many of their potential users are fond of animals and may not want leather tabs or leather zipper pulls. For that reason alone, they'd pick something else over the Bellroy.

And you would rather support ballistic nylon, a which is made using fossil fuels and harsh chemicals that damage the environment? Ballistic nylon is just as bad. There's no absolute moral virtue behind animal free products. Everything damages the environment, get over it.

I love animals, and I also wear leather and eat meat. Does this make me a hypocrite by some standards? Maybe. But I'm still a customer of bellroy and other brands which use leather. My bellroy sling has been my daily carry bag since I got it for Christmas last year.
