Who compensates for non refundable hotel accomodation money? Aer Lingus ? Travel insurances do not cover industrial action related issues and money lost . Please advise.
Typical vindictive management scrapping pilots perks. Overtime is not compulsory but is down to the goodwill of workers. The massive salaries that management are on are not under scrutiny. If the board went on strike NOBODY would notice.
The pilots are earing between 130-250k per year, get pay up every year (they lied about that) They also came together a couple years ago the pilots got together to decided they will work less and demanded the same pay. This is not for the average worker there who isnt earning alot its the highest earners moaning.

Is it really only the pilots or is there actually other workers part of the strike. This isn't the first strike Aerlingus had and this says alot about the company in my opinion. But you can easily find the other strkie that happened around several years ago on RU-vid and it was labled the cabin crew stike. What I'm trying to say is i think its not just the pilots but the other staff that have a problem with the company.
get a grip life is more important then getting away on a summer holiday please come on .......... and the tax in take for the aer lingus and the goverment
