Back in the 80’s I played in metal bands in the club circuit back then. At one point my band buddied up with this other band who had a little more of a classic to heavy rock repertoire, and we became like mutual fans. We would get bookings and trade off opening for each other. Anyway - I say AAALLLL THAT O N L Y TO SAY that they use do do this song. Somehow I’d never heard it before and I considered myself a pretty serious Aerosmith fan. This was one of their favorites and their fan favorites. It just never ages.

Greatest american band hands down. Best front man, twin guitarist joe perry is still a beast. Brad Witford so underated would play lead in most bands. Joey Krammer and Tom Hamilton the heart that keeps it going. What else can you say. I hope they keep the train a rolling. Bad boys of boston keep rocking
First time I saw them was 76 I think at Comiskey park. The roof started on fire after Jeff Beck played and thought they’d cancel the rest of show, but CFD got there and Bill Veck helped put out fire. Aerosmith was fantastic!!!!
Rocks is Joe Perry"s personal favorite album of the bands repertoire. But Toys in the Attic was the recording that really took them to the next level after the debut Aerosmith and Get Your Wings. The record label almost dropped them after those first two records didn't really sell that well but after countless tours of grinding it out live at gig after gig and literally paying their dues after Toys in the Attic was so well received by the fans and the radio gave it a lot of airplay . and the first 2 records started selling better and finally they were secure in their recording contract and could relax and keep doing their thing in front of the fans. Definitely it was a hard fought upward climb for these hard partying bad boys from Boston. In my opinion they are one of the best bands in the world.
Actually, Get Your Wings, especially, 'Same Old Song and Dance', put them on the charts. While recording 'Toys..', Tom Hamilton said they could finally feel confident enough to be much better.
