On 7th February 2017, Aerospace Bristol welcomed Concorde 216 - the last Concorde to be built and the last to fly - to her new purpose-built home.
The complex move was conducted with the greatest care by engineers from British Airways and Airbus, who towed the iconic aircraft across Filton Airfield and up a ramp into the new purpose-built hangar at Aerospace Bristol.
Taking off in summer 2017 - with Concorde as its show-stopping centrepiece - Aerospace Bristol will take visitors on a fascinating journey through more than a century of flight, telling an inspirational story of ingenious design, engineering innovation and remarkable social history

Pathetic that in this day and age this futuristic beautiful plane remains grounded. This country should be ashamed.

Blame France and Airbus, they are the one who grounded her.

So sad to see the Concorde, which should be doing Mach 2, looking like a fox with its leg caught in a trap.

Since there not turning Filton into houses anymore they should convert the runway and let Concorde fly 3 times a year

The sad thing about this footage was it took them 14 years to get it into a hanger she stood there at the side of the airfield all that time from the day she landed basically rotting away Should of let Richard Branson buy the fleet of planes probably be still flying today

I flew on G-BOAF on the 27 February 1988 from London Heathrow to Barbados via Shannon. BA273. Absolutely magnificent flight and service. Mach 2.2 at 65,000 ft, the edge of space. Beautiful flight!!

I love the way there is a van leading it to warn oncoming traffic haha like they wouldn't see Concord travelling at 2mph.

It's been left in the open air from 2003-2017. Plus it's been drained of all the fluids and her engines have seized.
