This is very great! :) I am reading this play for my Leaving Cert. Classical Studies Exam and this really helped me get a perspective of it (You should see my teacher though, he's great at it lol) I love the way this play makes a Tyrant out of Zeus and Aeschylus was actually supposed to be prosecuted for blasphemy but because he was a veteran in the Athens war, he was saved from the death penalty :) Well, I'm glad I found this!!!

This performance is quite well acted by young actors who make up for their youth with sparkling diction, passion and rhythm; although, the chorus stumbles a bit early on. But the real deal Greek chorus had years of practice in that most difficult synchronizing of speech in chorus; furthermore, the original Greek text for the chorus was a piece of perfect metrical poetry, which is lost in the translation. Ergo, when all is said and done. go get 'em Aeschylus! And Aristophanes follows your lead in dethroning the gauds! Seriously, we the early civilized Homo Sapiens seemed to sense the potential power and danger in our newly found technology.

Io was fantastic

I am very impressed by what they manage to do on a blank stage! The one thing that confused me is why they cast Io as a guy.
