i agree with you MUSA i think they got the potential to be as good and popular than blackpink outside of korea .they got all that take they're not to many like usual kpop group. 4 it's a perfect numbers of members , easy name to remember for western people , great vocals , they can rap , dance , they're pretty , they can speak english ,japanese ,korean and chinese . they got unique concept and they're songs can fit western taste . they're not to cute, not to provocative perfect to fit many taste .

Karina and Winter can speak English; however, Giselle is the only who can do it seamlessly. To be bigger than Blackpink, SM will need to be willing to take more risk and promote them outside of Asia when the right time comes for Aespa. For Blackpink, their moment came at Coachella and Aespa will have to wait for something similar.

The Finish composer Risto composed it originally for Nylon Beat and then worked on the reproduction of the song for S.E.S, as well, two years after the original release. Giving rights to a song doesn't mean that the one who buys it becomes an original creator, it simply means that they're legally allowed to use the composition in whichever way they like. That's why S.E.S' song is officially listed as a "cover" or an "adapted version" of the original melody.

Oh, S.E.S' song is technically also a remake - it's officially listed as a "cover" or an "adapted version" of the original song, which is by Finnish duo Nylon Beat. SM licensed it from the original composers in 98' and reproduced it for S.E.S, with the help of the original composer himself. It's actually been covered and remade several times by various artists 😊

@Ay Jay ITZY is over rated they're pretty bad vocaly and they got no balance in they're group . they're concept is very usual and they got 2 bad comeback in a row this yer with a backlash about the song mafia in the morning and the very bad song writing bye JYP . i think like many people than they are great dancer but that it .

Well this is just my opinion. I consider G-IDLE and StrayKids best female and male 4th gen groups. They are one of the only few 4th gen groups who actually write and produce their own music. Soyeon literally has wrote, composed and co-produced 99% of G-IDLE's discography. Same goes for Skz, BangChan, Changbin and Han has literally wrote, composed and produced their every single song. And they constantly change their concept. But if we talk about vocals then handsdown Aespa has the best vocal line in my opinion in entire 4thgen kpop.

@@ayushj6216 i agree with you stray kids is without a doubt the best male group from tyhe 4th gen . and for (G)IDLE i agree to but because they're in trouble since the SOOJIN scandal i hope they can handle that . to be honest (SOYEON to me she's a music genius she can do everything related with music sing , dance ,rap ,wrote songs , produce , make props , choose outfit . amoung all female idol she's the most all rounder of this gen and maybe one of the best of all time in kpop . be for now AESPA take the lead of this gen like IZ*ONE at the beginning . but (G)IDLE can comeback stronger than ever .

If they want to be bigger than Blackpink outside of Asia, then a few things has to change: 1) SM needs to be more serious and willing to take the risk when promoting their artists outside of Asia and 2) they need at least 2 or more members to be better in English.
