Breaks my heart when innocent people are killed cuz someone just had to "feel good" for a minute. Poor baby and poor young man.

Very few people involved in car accidents will admit to fault. Instead, even when it's obvious they caused the accident, they'll say you caused it. This is why everyone should get dashcams... like cops have body cams. Witnesses? If they can get their friends to be fake witnesses then you'll be screw ed. I was in an accident once. The other driver turned left right in front of me. Cops came and no witnesses at the scene. But when I got the police report, I was surprised there was a witness for the other driver... likely one of his buddies. This witness said I was speeding, which I definitely was not. I never thought of suing if he was honest about it but this pissed me off so I sued and won. But the real winner are the lawyers, who just writes a letter, likely from a template, to their insurance company and to avoid going to court, their insurance settled. My premium still went up even thought they said it wouldn't.

This guy is slick. He refused a blood test and admitted to drug use. He will recall his statement and say it was made under stress and now there is no lab test to prove it. It will be brought down to a traffic accident, with no prison time

How does this happen? These companies are supposed to be doing drug testing and when you get a new health card you are drug tested. Sounds like someone needs to investigate whoever is doing the drug testing. The construction companies I worked for were drug testing on a regular basis.

Knew it was Texas the moment I read the title. I'm an OTR driver and my only near collisions (the kind that get you killed) are in Texas. I would drive Newark, New Jersey in rush hour before I would go to Texas. I'm from Texas and it's absolutely insane how bad it has gotten. Got friends and family who can't wait to leave North Mexi- er, I mean Texas. What a shame.
