I remember when finding affordable magnifiers was nearly impossible, especially ones that had decent power and light source.I occasionally have to use my digital one that inverts colors to try to see the screens on some of my music equipment, but these would have been nice when I use them before my vision had worsened. Thanks for being informative.

You are my first blind youber I follow. You helped me to get back on the computer and smart phones. I need a 7 x mag. Do they sell a nice looking one at that streeght.

I have tried many different magnifiers in with the way my vision loss currently is it does not make it easier for me at all. I’m only magnifying how I see already. If that makes any sense LOL. But as weird as it sounds digital magnifiers work far better for me. That’s why I use my phone as often as I can. But still cannot read much. Only 1 to 2 letters at a time. I will say though those magnifiers you have in this video seem pretty cool. In fact I like the page one and wish that would work for me. But I bought one in the past and they put it in a backwards frame and attached it to a tablet holder and try to use it so I could play card games with the family. I even attach the light to it trying to be all crafty. But I can understand what you were talking about when it comes to distortion. Please encourage manufacturers of all devices to upgrade their designs from Micro-USB to USB-C. One of the hardest tasks, with poor eye sight, is plugging the Micro-USB cable. The symmetry of USB-C is tremendously easier.

I need something stronger. Also, have you found anything that works for watching TV or a movie? I have a pair of glasses that help, but they hurt my nose and give me a migraine after 30 minutes tops.

Watching TV is difficult because if you try to use magnification, you end up reducing the field of view and only being able to see a small part of the television. There are these things called max TV glasses but they don’t work well for many people. I end up just telling people to get closer to the TV!

Unfortunately, if you want a Magnifier that large, that’s how it’s done. I will say that this one is probably the best sheet magnifier I’ve ever tried.
