So happy to see some support for the rangers!! Will be buying both front and rear bumpers from you guys in the next few weeks. Keep up the good work guys.
Antonio Serrano there is a guy on eBay ... it's either elite off road or affordable off road... just type in Ford ranger bumper and you will see them. Worth every dime. Just installed mine and I love it !
I just ordered a bumper for my 2001 ford ranger 2wd. My truck doesn’t have that cross member thing for the inside bolts and I was wondering if just thoes 2 will hold it fine without saging or will I need to fab up that cross piece. I got the baha wings and I will be using my winch with it too
looks pretty good. but would like to see 1/4 inch instead of 3/16. about to order one anyway and just modify it a bit with some 1/4 inch cold rolled gussets for piece of mind..
Do you make a similar bumper for the Gen 1 "03" Durango. It will be used pretty harshly and not sure a bolt on side would work in my case however I do like the Tube Design...
You guys ought to edit your descriptions and add the web addresses on Amazon and here. I'm going to buy one of these, any satisfied customers who encountered elk with one of these?
I did... I hit an elk with my affordable offroad ranger bumper....But... I am very ready for elk and deer when I drive in the mountain areas I commonly go through so I don't drive very fast. It was night... I was driving down the mountain about 45 mph and by the time I was able to see the elk on the side of the road I slowed down to about 35 before it decided to dart across the road in front of my truck. It happened so fast...from my best recall of events... When I hit it the butt part of the Elk impacted the driver side of the center front part of the bumper. Upon collision the rest of the body swung around and pushed my driver side light in. The Elk didn't get knocked to the ground and was able to run off into the woods. There was no damage to the bumper at all. The only thing that broke was the plastic part that holds the mounting screw to the light clip that requires snap ring pliers to take off on the driver side headlight. Always drive slower and defensively when you are on a road with elk or deer. I have been very pleased with my bumper...I had it sand blasted and then I sprayed it with Raptor anti Corrosive Expoy Primer and then Raptor lined it myself.
