How's the silicon valley ie the Desi - s. v. connekted to the severe water - woes u recount of in the Afghanistan... Barry... I guess, the Helmand river flowing from East-central - Afghan, down, South-west for more than half of the entire country region before moving north, into the Iranian territory, & emptying into the swamp at the Iran - Afghan border, maybe somehow linked, don't kniw how, to the South western - silicon valley region among other geography... Julia... Maybe.. yet everytime some terrible tragedy striking Bangalore - & around Sw - region, news flashes as headlines in the print-press, TV media chnnls one can be cent per cent certain of, something far more terrible events happening in the NW - Iran, Afghanistan regions... Isn't there a Dam in that SW region, Julia, what's its name...? Ooohh yeeaah, the North - Karnataka - Bijapur - Bagalkot - Almatty Dam... which had apparently commenced in 1963...& completed in 2005, exactly 42 yrs later... & taking another 4 yrs to be inaugurated... 42 yrs??? for the completion of a Dam in the SW - geography... boasting of finest, Science & tech engineers among other professionals, Julia..? It was a major disputed - Dam, between the neighbouring states... ie Andhra pradesh, Maharashtra... & continues to be soooh... And just fyi, Julia, Almatti happens to be the name of the region in the southern Kazakhstan.... Hv this sweet savoury, Barry, from the princely Nawab cities of Bhopal & Gwalior... Gajak... The last 2 empires - apoarently meeting that fate, is too well known... Operation chess board - Brezhinsky initiated carpet bombarding war games over their most preferred & favoured geography... Iraq & Afghanistan in the past 5 decades... they must change the name of their country at once... doesnt it sound ominous, Barry...? Certainly... if we choose to unscramble the name ie Afghan, alongwith the pronounciation syllables altered, for eg, replacing, the letter, G with, K... it explains... eloquently as to why its been a graveyard for the invading empires in the last 4 centuries...
