I want to have an ep where Ben isn't playing, and the scenario is still something like "go get someone else to play the Traitor " So of course they get Ben.
Just watching through your videos. Page 7 of the rulebook: "Do I have to match doors by color? Doorway color matters only when exiting, as it dictates which type of tile you find. When placing a tile, you can connect any open doorway on the tile to the door you exited, no matter the color or size. "

In the beholder fight Ben won but it was stacked so much heavier in his favor than they realized. He could have picked up the ring of the ram right after killing Ian, then used the pipes to push the beholder back into the other omen room. Remembering the eye of vecna he could have guarded the only way to the beholder while it slept for the second time.
The Deck of Many Things: That seems really good. The man whose soul was bound in the shadow plane and body bound in hell with a dread wraith waiting for him when he got out thought the same thing.
It feels like the weird combo of events that happens here ( in the garbage to start searching but only people in shops roll) really lead them to location code the events in the legacy version
You totally don't have to match the doors on exiting, by the way, for anybody watching this that want to get into the game. I'm not sure *where* Ben got this idea, but he had it on the first episode too. But the color only really matters when leaving the room.
