I’m going with Lions. They’re starting to find their form again and looking formidable. If they tag Butters out of it and keep him under 20 touches, Port with an underdone Rozee won’t have the grunt to go with them. Swans also this week over the Giants. Especially now with Sam Taylor out with a busted nut and Amartey coming off a huge game last week, Swans will have too much firepower for Port to defend. North a real danger game for the Dees. Still going to go with Dees….but not with any great confidence, with Norf having Simpkin coming back in to improve their side from last week that came so close to knocking off the Pies. GC can’t win away. Freo to respond after a poor showing last week, allowing Bont to do as he pleased. They’ll learn from that and put a tag on Touk. Ben King a big OUT for the Suns as well.

Sides who have just played against Freo, 1 win & 12 losses following week...GWS might well be the upset?

I'm interested in a what now for the rest of the year. How will the final 8 weeks play out. Of course for those teams contending for the finals. But also how the bottom 8 teams can start preparing for next season. Another big question to ask is whether Carlton is a champion team or a Team of champions. I reckon Carlton and Brisbane are a team of champions, but Collingwood is a champion team.

An upset can be defined as the favourite having the favourites form to win (4 rounds), with the average of the "points for" from the 2 from last years ladder suggesting that the roughie can win based on history....

How can you call Gold Coast a young team against Freo? 😂 Freo have a younger list with less players that've played 100 games or more. Freo have the 4th youngest list, Gold Coast the 10th youngest.

Every time I look. I see Essendon playing some bottom 6 side.
