Vizag is beautiful coastal city. Visit Rushikonda beach & Beemili beach. You can sea curly Waves & docked Ships at far off distance and enjoy the Sea breeze with 100% pristine calm atmosphere. I am not from Andra Pradesh. Vizag deserves Capital of Andra Pradesh but politicians are ignoring Vizag because it is located at one corner of the State.

It's not just about one side. If it becomes capital it will lose its attraction like how bangaluru became The locals never want the city to become capital In 2014, 19, 24 they never supported visakhapatnam becoming capital

@@unknown.m.e no capital city in india has lost its attraction, infact everyone getting more attracted to these capital cities nowadays, to be frank 99 % of telugu people if got a chance to choose between vizag and Hyderabad to settle, without second thought they will opt Hyderabad. If getting capital looses that attraction then why would people of krishna guntur district people desired capital that much opposing vizag. Coming to people opting government doesn't reflects their support for capital, because majority people are least bothered about capital, state future they are just concerned for them and for their children and their future... These leaders from dominated region compelled Amaravati on our state to satisfy their selfishness...the entire state along with visakhapatnam will suffer for this wrong decision in near future..

@@Raju-S they are going for tourism? they are going because of opportunities in education healthcare. Even our family members for operations and others medical related things traveling to Hyderabad from Andhra. Big cities have better stuff that's all. Do you think visakhapatnam people finding better life in Hyderabad no. They left because they don't have a choice. Even for me I live in Hyderabad but there is nothing here to do. I am doing my job and living in my room that's all. Once bangaluru is called a city of garden or city of lakes Now bangaluru people asking people to leave the city or demand other stuff. Why? Vishakapatnam will become the same. Right now it's one of the cleanest cities in india with huge tourism and peaceful life. Why would any local want to destroy it and call it a better city than today. Andhra development should be decentralised Expect Hyderabad bangaluru you can't even a town close to be called a city. Because Hyderabad and bangaluru take over the state and people only want to invest there. But for Andhra it's not the case. We have opportunities coming here to invest in other areas. Let them invest and develop the region Instead of coming here talk like Andhra should never develop and only visakhapatnam should develop.

To select a capital, there should be proper infrastructure and necessities for future population also. That's amaravathi was chosen because govt could plan everything from scratch. Otherwise many floods and land problems would be faced in vizag even at present it looks fine.

Victory at Sea War Memorial was built in 1996 to honour the brave sailors of Indian Navy and the Eastern Naval Command who fought the Indo-Pak War and sunk PNS Gazi, a Pakistani Submarine when Pakistan targeted the Visakhapatnam Port to destroy INS Vikrant, an Indian Aircraft Carrier. PNS Gazi was defeated at the coast of the city of Visakhapatnam. Hence, the Victory at Sea War Memorial has been built in the memory of the first battle victory in the Liberation War. The memorial is a decent attraction to take children to increase their knowledge about the historical battles, tensions and outcomes. As they say, we must sometimes look back to be able to take better steps in the future. Visiting memorials and historic sites is one of the ways to do that.

5:15 that statue was of some prominent personality of Andhra Pradesh. All the statues present along the beach road are of freedom fighters and prominent personalities of Andhra pradesh and India. Ayyanna patrudu attended as a chief guest for that statue opening ceremony long back some years ago. And by the by welcome to my hometown.
