AFROPUNK and Shopify came together to launch the Black Fashion Accelerator. A 6 month program that identified 9 exceptional entrepreneurs from the AFROPUNK community via a rigorous selection process that included an in depth application process.

Our aim was to give under-resourced, yet undeniably talented entrepreneurs the tools they need to succeed in their creative business. The accelerator equipped the participants with key expertise in areas including e-commerce, manufacturing, operations, financing, merchandising, marketing and partnerships. The program culminated in NYC in the summer of 2022 with a fashion show presentation to press, family, friends and industry leaders.
