That’s not fuel it’s water when you get water in the exhaust there’s nothing wrong with it you actually have a great engine you can look it up if you don’t believe me
Normally water vapor get trapped in your mufflers and drains out, if you look closely all mufflers have a weep hole, somewhere at the bottom. Without the whole system the water just condenses and sprays out.
water vapor or steam is created in the chemical rxn combustion process as henrygurney7076 said in his stoichiometric chemical rxn diagram. Oxygen reacts with hydrocarbon(gas) and Steam or water vapor plus carbon dioxide as well as a laundry list of other carbon and nitrogen chemicals are produced due to the many constituents in gas and oil. When the pipe is cold the steam condenses to liquid water and leaks out of the tail pipe.
You’d be better off drilling some holes in the muffler it still gives it a deep sound I mean not as deep as full delete but if you don’t wanna put another pipe on it’s better than fully cutting it out
Wow bonehead comments... Everyone I can tell you exactly whats going on the catalytic converter is making water from the exhaust gases. It's a environmental system on all modern cars
i was planning to take unbolt my mufflers , and have been wondering for a while if I would need to bolt on another pipe or if I could just get away with nothing else put on. any suggestions? Also If i remove the mufflers the ends are pointing upwards or downwards it’s at a flat level.
Ok so if I do this, but my pipe is just straight will I still need to get a pipe and make a hard right so the exhaust can escape, but I have a 2003 Chevy s10 will it still get in my cab. If I left it like that. And the best thing about mine is that my base is right under this so if I did do this I wouldn't have to rest the muffler on anything or grab wire to hold it cause I could just tie it down to the base.
@@imjaquinoff2168 not if your car is well sealed. Cause remember you have the fire protection things I can remember their name at the moment. But yeah I talked to a mechanic about this.

Just normal combustion and catalyst. Mixing stuff that contains hydrogen, carbon, and air. You’ll end up making a little water. It’s normal a lot of mufflers have seep holes in them now days. You’ll see some fords and chevys SUVs and trucks dripping water sometimes.
Bought a 03 corolla with 270k miles . Did muff delete. In general for the amount of miles.. the engine won't cause damage? Guys from work I feel like they be messin with me
@@santiagoromero3413 Yeah I ended up just installing a performance muffler onto my exhaust, bcuz the exhaust was just facing up towards my fuel tank which didn’t look too safe.
@@santiagoromero3413 If ur exhaust isn’t facing up towards ur fuel tank and instead is facing straight or down then u should be fine leaving it as it is after taking the muffler out
That is not fuel lmfao 🤣🤣🤣, thats water that has condensated inside the pipes, and is being pushed out by air pressure throufh the exhaust. Havnt u ever seen ur exhaust tips leak some water the day after a super cold/rainy day?
