All these years and I finally just shelled out the money to learn 3ds max. While its not easy by any means, it sure is rewarding to see that box sitting in a grassy field with a shadow that took 6 hours of stumbling through youtube jus to end up here & finally get it.
Good video. Have you got any tips to match the camera perspective. I have put a ground plane down as a substitute floor and it isn't quite matching the real floor in perspective, as it goes into the distance
Unfortunatelly it does not exactly work as planned. I have a video from a drone with regular camera - not a fisheye gopro. I flew bove the field and climbed rotating camera down as she approaches the target on the ground. AE perfeclty solved cam track with all solids etc. staying in place. But then I exported the cam solution to 3DS via this script camera movement did not match the video however it was similar. But far from what camera actually did :(
Me too, my final result has the object moving in the scene after I followed several tutorials about the same topic. Idk if I am missing something, please help
Hi. Thank you, i finally found the video i have been searching for hours. Can we use the camera as vray camera? If we use vray mtl and vray camera, is there any option for that?
I tried the script in the latest version of AE and I had no issues, please make sure the script is installed properly. the script should be placed in the "scripts" folder in the AE "Support Files\Scripts".
happened. It was necessary to put a tick in the settings. Thank you) (alert! you need to check " Allow scripts to Write files and Access network" in the general preferences in order to use this plug in.)
Don't you know where all these scripts should be? It might be on a desktop, but I didn't find it... And there are no scripts in the recent folder or quick access folder
AE3D EXPORT not working he say: ALERT! You need to check "Allow Scripts to Write Files and Access Network" in the General Preferences in order to use this plug in.
The procedure becomes completely useless when it comes to 3ds. Although the camera movement is correct, the grid is not aligned, and the 90 degree rotation does not solve anything. How can I correctly insert my 3D objects if the grid is not aligned with the real horizon?
