I made this yesterday and it is amazing! I usually get rashy on the front of my shins and bumps on the back of my thighs after shaving, but this really minimized both. It makes a bunch (filled a pint sized jar with a little left over) so i may cut the recipe in half in the future, or put in smaller jars and give some away as gifts😊
First Congratulations 🎉🎉❣️ for the upcoming package arrival ... Happy Mother's day .... And I am so glad I found you ... This is a beautiful cream .... Will try it out soon
If you wanted to add Coconut Oil to it as well, how much Coconut Oil would you use? Also how many ounces does your concoction make? The total ounces is important because then I can adjust the ration up or down depending on how many ounces I want to make.
Thank you for your videos and your recipes. They are fun to work with. I wanted to give some feed back on my experience with the aftershave lotion. I made some yesterday and used it this morning after shaving my face. This is what I noticed. My face stayed oily for about 30 minutes and had the scent of Shea butter. I used 100 drops of ceder wood but could not smell it at all. It felt smooth and did sooth my skin. Is there another oil you could recommend to avoid the oily feel to it and another scent that would be stronger than the Shea butter? Thanks.
So I'm new to making body care products and I haven't done research on ingredients like I have done with food. Why don't you use emulsifying wax? Wouldn't it make it easier to mix everything together?
Hey! Great clip! Thanks! Please, can you make a video for a pigmentation? I peeled my skin on my eyebrow a few months ago. The scar had dried up, but there is still a red mark. I do not feel comfortable with that. Please - if you can help with pigmentation problems. Thanks.
I would recommend going to my website "Bumblebee Apothecary", and search "After Shave Lotion Recipe". In there you will find a "Preserve It" section, and there is a link to the preservative I use there! :)
Sorry to hear that! I haven't had this happen, but I'm happy to try and help. You could try refrigerating it for a few hours, and see if that helps things thicken up.
