If I make this. Can I add lemon steam distilled, yang yang, lavender, sandalwood, frankincense, rose, rosemary. They all do something for skin care. Or is that too many?
A. You need to explain gaps the first time you say it. B. after getting chelated does a person have continued chelating? C. Why would your son have heavy metals from birth? D. It all sounds pretty superstitious to me.
is it possible that the gaps way of eating also contributes to heavy metal buildup? it is based on heavy use of meat stock/bone broth. unfortunately the bones of chickens and other animals can contain metals. in addition metals can be found in livers and other organs. i know organic products are promoted but most of us can't afford them. i just started gaps recently and i do not buy organic. not even sure organic raised animals do not have heavy metals. just wondering because watching your children munch on liver pills and seeing you give your daughter so many treatments for liver support. and the cod liver oil they have all been eating all their lives. i know some of the cod liver oil is supposed to be distilled and filter for heavy metals but can we really trust the sources? there is now evidence that many supplements from ingredients around the world are contaminated with lead and arsenic. the traditional foods that brought health may now be not as healthy as they once were.
i'm newer to your channel and watched a few. one was what your husband ate in a day and i thought you mentioned that certain grains weren't on gaps. so i'm confused now to see sourdough bread and it looks conventional. i love it but have autoimmune hashimotos and avoid all wheat. can you explain a bit more or put links for me to a video where you covered this? i know they say sourdough makes wheat digestible but i'm not sure i understand. thank you!!!!!!
Hi marissa Im trying to do gaps but I have a really bad breath halitosis and i know is cause by parasites and candida. Toxins and even I Just eat bone broth is very uncomfterble my breath is killing me. And i think even I Just eat bone broth or orgánic meat I still feel bad. I dont know when to advance in the diet if I feel pretty bad and i feel parasites moving in my body I Just want to get them off of me. 😢😢😢😢
Hello, do you use bitters with your toddler? If so, how much do you give for a 2 year old? The urban moonshine bitters say 12 and older only so I don’t want to over do it. Thanks!
I use the wet rendering method but realised my temperature might be too high even with water. Can you ruin the tallow or lessen its good properties by using a higher temperature?
Love your videos! I've been slowly transitioning to a whole food/ancestral diet since last fall, and I feel that I'm finally making headway. My husband has a Master's in Nutrition from a very mainstream university, so getting him on board is an uphill battle I'm continuing to fight, as he disagrees with many tenets of ancestral eating. Thankfully, he's on board with eating whole foods. I've been sick for a long time with all sorts of digestive/skin/hormonal issues and by eating whole foods I'm already starting to feel better!
Oh my, I can only imagine your struggle having such different approaches to nutrition. My husband is more indifferent and reluctant to change, but he does try to go with my flow. Hoping one day he will come to share my views on his own terms.
